Super smash bros. Brawl

I heard it sucks badly, actually.

Seeing as neither of us are going on anything but hearsay… guess we’ll find out next week.

I live in Minnesota… I think it should work out fine, but I guess we’ll see. I’ll send you guys my code tomorrow when I head over to my dad’s house after I get my rabid amounts of homework done. (Yes, I am indeed doing all the homework due next week tomorrow so I can play brawl for many extended periods of time <_<)

Ahah… I’m suddenly ecstatic that it’s officially a day away from release now, and that combined with intense fatigue and an incredibly fucked up migraine is an interesting combination of emotions, as well as the fact that my girlfriend is realizing I’m not what she’s looking for after a year and a half, and not to mention the fact that I’m going to attempt three essays, a case study, a test, and nine random assignments in a few hours… and I spilled pop on my keyboard earlier.

…and I’m still about an inch from squealing in quite the high-pitched manner at the fact that I’m leaving to get smash in 32.5 hours.

Lol, my biggest issue is that even when I get brawl, the amount of time I can play it is limited.

I’m going to a tourney at 9:00 tonight, which is good, but I have a track meet at around 1:00 today. Then I’ll probably go to my friends house and play Melee to death before going to the tourney.

But I have homework and crap, which I know I wont do on Sunday, and I have track practice afterschool every day of the week until 5:30. >_>

Compiled with Track meets just about everyweekend, or band concerts, I wont be playing brawl hardcore until spring break. >_>

And meanwhile I have a family reunion and four articles due for the paper on release day.

This game really came out at a shitty time. XD

Lol yeah. Its amazing how much less was on my chest when Melee came out 7 years ago.

I live in Ga, so I may be able to Brawl with yall. However my USB Wifi router killed over yesterday  …and it had to be right before brawl…oh well.

lol, I know what you guys mean… I also have to babysit constantly for my mom next week, and I pretty much refuse to bring my wii to my mom’s house…
Yeah, this thursday would have been much more awesome, but meh.
I’m taking all my classes at the college… so I have 11 days off for spring break =D

…feck, you reminded me that I have to set up a separate wireless router over here to play wii or DS on this network <_< It works fine at dad’s with the d-link, but the crappy routers that my new ISP provides refuses to work with nintendo products… so I have to use a linksys, and if anyone knows anything about those, they know that it’s almost not worth it to deal with the thing…

I haven’t played Smash in like a year. I’m going to suck at launch.
I’ll have the game within a week of release, though, I think/hope.

Well, seeing as how my dad “forgot” to pre-order my copy of Brawl, I’m camping out. Anyone else gonna camp out?

I would, but I have a girlfriend, a pre-order, and the fact that I live in an area that is surrounded by small towns where very few people are gamers and even less play smash. My girlfriend would either laugh or say “you’d rather camp out for a game that won’t even sell out than talk to/hang out with me?”, my pre-order allows me to sleep soundly without worrying too much, and living near only small towns tells me that there’s no way that Target, Best Buy, AND Wal Mart are going to be sold out by the time I get there at noon. Even though I would dread going to Wal Mart. But still, I have the option.

Edit: Oh, Tim, don’t worry too much about it. Smash is like riding a bike, and then realizing that the gears are all fucked up. First, you gotta fix up the gears that haven’t been used in a while, and then it just takes a little time to remember how to do everything. While it may not be nearly as good as right after I played Smash for almost literally twenty-four hours straight, it isn’t that hard to get decent enough to kick ass after an hour or two. Especially if you do a one-on-one with a level 9 on a fairly basic level on unlimited time. That’s always fun. If you’re really up to a worthless challenge, you could play…

frick, which level was that <_< The F-Zero one where the cars come from behind… Anyway… if you’re bored and have a ton of time, you can try to demolish every single car. It’s pointless, but you get funny reactions when you tell people.

:<<<<

The GameCrazy by my house is too small to host a tourney, and the nearest one that’s doing the tourney/midnight release is three cities away. Fuck. D:

…don’t get me started on the tourney situation. Citadel Games decided that they are gonna do a massive release event for Halo 3, but nothin’ for smash, and my nearest tourney is 3 hours away… unless St. Cloud has one goin’ on, but I don’t have the gas to get there just to get my ass kicked.

Well, I live in a rural area, so the whole “camping out” thing is a gurantee. If you don’t, good luck getting a copy in a couple weeks. Yeah, I live by Portland, OR (Drug Capital of the world, btw).

I felt like it fit.

Edit: Zaaagh, I just realized that Smash is mine in less than twenty-four hours. And at least six of that will be spent sleeping, so that’s like 18 waking hours left.
And yes, Zaaagh. And I must sound obsessive.

OBSESSSSSIONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN IS SETTING INININININININiniNiNiniNNN
PS asgafhaghaga

Yes, I do believe that Asgafhaghaga beats Zaaagh.
Also, “We are the knights who say NIH!”

But yeah, homework is a good obsession deterrent, as well as a good time waster. Because it seems like time is going both slow and fast when you do homework… as in, the minutes creep by as you do it, and then you get done, and you realize you just spent the last hour on something so pointless it makes you want to repeatedly punch SOMETHING that would make any sort of loud, high-pitched squeally death noise.
Like the teacher.

Edit: Not to continue the obsession or anything, but… I’m getting smash today :stuck_out_tongue: and it’s technically in… 9 hours, thanks to daylight savings and such.
Woot.

Worth the wait, yes. Worth the trip, helllllllllll NO! I will no longer be a gamestop customer. More details later. And friend codes >=3

lol, indeed… I’ll give you guys my friend coes as soon as I get to my dads… probably about four hours.
AHFHGHEDLD, TWO HOURS 'til it’s in my hand.

Edit: And we’re off…
=D
