Lol. Still trying to do the bouncing animation. Kinda pathetic that i’ve never done it before, since i’ve done about 5 sheets in the style. Anyhow, i’m taking a quick break, and cooked this up.
I know, it’s crappy. It’s suppose to be the MP3 ridley. Of course, i have absolutely NO good refferences, so i let imagination take over. I probably wont finsih it until the game comes out(due to screenshot issues), but it’s good spriting practice…i guess.
Lol. I guess it was a wasted effort. I didnt have any real refference, and mostly paused the video to look at him. The result I actually find mildly comical. Like a friendly ptesaur. (know i didnt spell that right).

That’s probably because of the arms. I’ll do some adjusting.

Updated with side pose WIP. Personally, i think the torso is a little to big, and the pose is just awkward, like he’s leaning to far. The head also bothers me. Anything else I can do to fix it??
Hm. Hopefully, I fixed it up a bit. The shoulders werent accurate on the forward facing one anyway, so i made it larger. Still a bit of an issue, but is it more bearable now??

MPH already takes place between the two primes, so your story either has to go between hunters and P2 or hunters and P1. Of course, it depends which sprites you want to use. I think you should take your reply to the PMs.

YAY!!! After looking at MZM samus run, i realized that shoulders dont have to bounce for a decent running animtion. A swinging arm subsitutes nicely.
However, the major drawback is that I’ll have to animate the entire arm when samus runs the other direction.
my story takes place between metroid 2 and super metroid. so it does make some sense, because im making some of them just an apearance in some worlds (of course).
my game is a multi-mission in different worlds on different envirioments, i may also need voice sounds for each characters im using and interact…if i make it blend. probably in the future i making in 3D of it (metroid prime style ) who knows
Still, you haven’t specified WHICH sheets you want. The Sylux one is kinda crappy, but decent enough to use. Weavel is fine. Kanden is WIP. You definetly DONT want to use Noxus. Nobody want to use noxus.
You might want to use the Commandoes, they’re okay. Anyway, I’d at least like to know which ones you’re going to use. Of course, you already have permission.

Sorry, but Daz is right. You cant even fit a game between super metroid and M2. The best you could do is a 15 minute cutscene, with voice acting and stuff.
Allow me to explain:
Samus beats queen metroid. Samus discovers Metroid egg. Egg hatches. Baby loves samus. Samus takes the final SR388 metroid with her to colony Ceres directly after M2. THen, Ceres is attack 5 minutes later, and Samus goes back to investigate. SM starts.
So yeah, not really much of a game there. You might be able to do between MP3 and M2, but then again, we dont know about that either.
Prefferably, I’d prefer you not adding pixels to my sprites. Darkening/lightening them is fine, but making them more detailed really takes away from what makes them mine.
