Metroid Prime 3: Corruption

Who the Hell’s idea was it to go around and post the ship date as the release date (IGN) or just the ship date (everyone else)? I don’t freak’n care about the F-ing ship date, I care about the day I can buy it. sigh Fucktards >_<

It’s not like I would have gotten it today, but one way or another I’m gonna get this game tomorrow.

Thanks for the info, guys. Can’t wait to play it!

The release date is the 29th in Canada for some reason. 28th in the US. Dunno about elsewhere.

I’m back and I had Gamestop Corp called since I reserve the game and said “it will be there when they open”.

Apparently, a lot of people already have the game.

um… Ed the ship date is about 4-7 days BEFORE the date posted <.< I went to K-Mart here locally and lo-an-behold MP3-C was in stock o.0 and me without money >_<

You see, everone’s confused. It’s suppost to release tomorrow. BTW mai local Wal*lyword doesn’t have a shipment yet (as of this morning).
calls to see if they have it now

Nope, they don’t have it >_>

o.0 well since wal-mart uses this idiotic “automated” stocking system I can very well see why. The program goes by how well an item sells, the more they gross on one particular item the more that item makes the shipment list. Which really sucks for new releases. <.< Oh well, I remedied that problem by ordering it on-line. now all I have to do is sit back and wait while my hip heals.

It’s getting some… stupid reviews, but nonetheless, the more I hear about the more excited I get.

Allow me to condense the Gamespot review to one sentence:

Wait, what?

Exactly what I thought.

Worst review EVER. Even IGN’s didn’t make much sense. Rate a game that’s eons better than Echoes… as highly as Echoes?

Eh, I can kinda see that though. “A game that gets a score today is better than a game that got that same score before” or something like that.

Wait a sec…they said that because it has great controls, that the controls suck? Wow. Yeah, uhhh…my panic is over. My dad got it from a target today (birthday was a couple days ago). Apparently, they had a shipment that was loading into the store right when he got there. He just walked back to the electronics and they were putting it on the shelves. Freaky. Anyways, the controls don’t suck. As soon as you can learn how to move the remote, which is easy, considering they tell you how, it’s like second nature. Take it from first hand experience. The controls are amazing. The game is amazing.

@072: I just wanted you to know, that right after the tutorial, you go to a different planet, and you get the “I’m all alone atmosphere” right away. It’s really sweet. Occasionally, you get an incoming transmission from the GF, but other than that, it’s all you. I’ve been playing for 2 hours, and I haven’t even fininshed this planet.

To all of those who haven’t gotten this game, get it. You’ll get hooked right away (unless you know what already happens. I didn’t have the guts to find out. I like suprises).

WARNING! SPOILERS BEYOND THIS POINT!

Also, right after the tutorial, the hunters leave until you fight them. That’s right, you fight them. From what I could gather, they get possessed by Dark Samus or something along those lines. The first battle is with Rundus. It’s awesome!

No, it wasn’t that the controls sucked, it was that the controls were so smooth the game lacked difficulty because it was too intuitive and good.

oh. well, to clarify, i was playing it just a little while ago, and it’s a challenge. You’ll break a sweat dodging and whatnot. I know that I just get so into it that I’ll actually start dodging the shots in the game in real life. It’s kinda funny to watch. I know this sounds contradictory to my previous post, but alot happened in between these two posts of mine.

Lol, that’s what I heard.

I didn’t feel that the reviews were bad in any way though. IGN’S review seemed legit.

Awsome controls. Awsome graphics. Mildly difficult.

Sounds like Metroid prime 3 to me. I’m also VERY glad they added an EXTRA hard mode (that’s what I heard).

Ahhh…teh wait is over.

Ahhh…<3
:slight_smile::wink:

In other words, controls rock, graphics rock, game rocks. Only issue is that (I think they did this intentionally) is the Wii-remote flick for the springball. But it only happens in surtain areas.

This game is loaded with alot of hard things, and the secret beam is Spolier(Nova Beam).

Daz there’s a pirate commander near the last of the game, maybe you will turn him into a sprite right?

Heh, I haven’t gotten used to the controls yet.

Nothing else to say here-- I’m still in the first hour segment.
