OMG, THE TRAILERS ARE SO AWSOME.
So those dude’s bound by Dark Samus’s will, we’ve seen them before. There’s a boss fight against one in the titlescreen trailer. They seem to be phazon creatures, as they have yellow plated skin with phazon in between. One of them was placing a phazon capsule (the ones that dark samus absorbs) in it, so I’m assuming it’s them. They’re enemies of the federation as well, though we can’t know why yet.
T_T I need this game.
The other trailer was pretty fricken awsome as well. The ice missles were badass, and the PLASMA BEAM is back, though the extension looks like the ice/dark beam. And Samus’s PED suit receives small upgrades apparently, I though she was dark samus when I saw her (her corruption becomes more evident throuhgout the game though).
I WANT THIS GAME!!! I need to do whatever it takes, but I dunno how long I can go without tearing off my fingers. >_<
They say that they met Dark Samus near Aether. This would normally be a giveaway that they’re just a new kind of Space Pirate, but the word “near” doesn’t seem right. Didn’t the Space Pirates meet Dark Samus on Aether?

IN FACT, I KNOW EXACTLY what they look like.
Remember that STONE robot suit thing samus was in, while in morphball form? THAT’S WHAT THEY LOOK LIKE. But that was just a statue or something. But I’m sure that’s them, whatever THEY are. If they just met DS, I doubt they’re phazon based, but they look like it.
BTW, this is possibly the most awsome pic I’ve ever seen. (site is updated, nothing new though).

I really have to agree that the new hunters don’t look all that great. The purple lady and the robot thing look ugly.
Yeah, Gandrayda looks really cheezy. WAAAAAAAAAAAY too much like Cortana, and not alien enough, not to mention too cliche. Ghor doesn’t look bad when he’s wearing his giant armor suit though. I think he has potential to be pretty cool.
Rundas looks just like what I would expect after Metroid prime hunters, where they did a GREAT job on the hunters. They were all sort of humanoid, but at least they looked original, and beleivable.
OH, and good job Nintendo for trying to market MP3 to old people. I guess the add is fine, since looking at the game speaks for itself. Regardless of the add, I don’t see how someone could NOT buy it. It looks amazing.
Just to add something, if you want mega spoilers, go to the Nsider forums. Some people there have played the whole game. The last boss and everything has been revealed. Just please dont post it here, I dont want to risk walking in on HUGE spoilers.

Ok, so I went earlier today to get MP3:C, and it wasn’t anywhere! So I just went online, and nintendo.com says it comes out the 27th (today), and some retailers say it comes out tomorrow (the 28th), and others even say the 29th! So much conflicting evidence! Can someone please tell me when the STORES will have Metroid Prime 3 on shelves?
