They’ve been confirmed for a while, and were visible in a few videos, such as Wii Metroid Channel’s “Bowling”.
Oh, those were them? They looked pretty awesome.
Those new videos were removed already. 
I saw enough to like the new environments, and some of the new cutscenes featuring the Hunters didn’t look that bad (even though I was still wishing they really just hadn’t)… The narrator obviously hadn’t played the previous Metroid games, though. He said things like “As you know Samus was infused with phazon in the prior Prime games, so now she can use her new suit to make use of that” and “this game isn’t leaps and bounds above the graphics in Metroid Prime 2. In fact, to the untrained eye, they look exactly the same”. Videogame nub. >_>

It’s Rundus with a PED suit. Although it seems like this is another one of those Metroid Prime/Ridley things, where it’s clearly one but every other person sees the other.

I’ve known that forever. Of course, it took me a bit of studying to identify that as Ridley. The beak and wings confirmed it for me.

That looks like Samus standing in random rubble. And while it vaguely resembles the SM Torizo in very minute ways in a couple places, MP3 chozo statues don’t look like that anyway.
I know that the other bounty hunters turn evil and you get to fight them. But why do they turn evil? I’m pretty sure it’s because they’re effected by phazon but why wouldn’t Samus turn evil then?
Maybe her PED is stronger than theirs, or maybe theirs become compromised, or maybe she just has stronger will.

My guess is it’s something to do with misusing hyper mode, where you end up corrupted and die. That’s probably what happens to the Hunters, though I’m sure “die” is just videogame slang for “lose the game and retry from the checkpoint”. The Hunters don’t get second chances and turn evil from the corruption.
That makes a lot of sense. I’m sure when you abuse Hyper Mode it will show a mini clip of Samus becoming corrupted. Instead of just exploding.
I want this game, but it comes out when school starts, so I won’t be able to get it. That’s why that damn week delay pisses me off, and yet somehow a number of people already got their hands on the game, they are saying some stores are selling it early.
Well she did do that whole phazon suit thing this one time. She might be resistant to some of the effects of phazon because of controlled exposure.
If the game decides to attribute any of Samus’s phazon resistance to her Chozo Powersuit, then the Chozo obviously had something to do with the creation or discovery of Phazon. If it’s just that the other PED suits didn’t work right, then that’s sort of a deus ex machina solution. Not entirely unfeasible though.
Yeah, Same here. My dad Jacked my Wii, and god knows what I’ll have to do to get it back. School is going to ruin the trilogy for me. I’ll either have to avoid every topic on this board until I get it, or pull some MAJOR sucking up, and do gooding so I can get it, and even then, I wont have my Wii, and wont be able to play it.
It’s basically a lose/lose situation for me.
