Metroid Prime 3: Corruption

New videos are up, and us Wiiless Metroid fans must scour YouTube once more.

Hm, I thought you meant these:

glares at Reaver

Why do you the Trooper spazed right when they mentioned phazon sickness? “To this date no signs of … which is common in those who use the Space Pirates model.”
These things are meant to be obvious.

Edit: Daz, those are the ones I meant >_>;; I simply found the last one looking for the ones you spoke of. I didn’t remember those but they have been altered a little bit in the new vids though.

What does ye think of the one I posted?
New vids:
Air Assault
PED

Omg, I swear, there is NOTHING more awsome than a GF dude with a PED. That one dude’s AIM sucked bad, but when that dude took out the berserker pirate, I honestly though “That’s wassup”.

Though this definetly wont make 072 happy.

But honestly, I had assumed that the GF troopers were all just puny and would die when you entered the room, but this makes for an interesting twist. I wonder how/when they’ll use these “super troopers”.

Interesting, but I assume only samus can die from it, because of the phazon seed inside her.

ALSO. I wanted to say that the Armor on those pirates looks JUST like pirate commando armor. Think now you can take the armor off of commandoes, or those are different all together?

Pffffff, let him pout in a corner.

I thought the same thing about the commandos. I’m really liking the way this game is coming together

Oh BTW, insert generic flame for 072 ahead of time.

Lol, no need to get all aggressive. I know, most of us dissaprove of 072’s handling of the info we’re getting, but honestly, it’s not without a decent cause. I mean, there are things you want, and then there are things that are unlikely. MP3 being like MP3 was pretty unlikely, though they did stretch it in some interesting directions.

Two new videos will be released on the 20th. And the titles look interesting o.O

I’m glad the Federation seems to be remotely capable of defending themselves for once.

Though, for a political power so obsessed with military might, they do seem to get their asses whooped by the half-defeated Space Pirates on a regular basis.

They may be capable. Using their new PED suits. But can they control the phazon? Can they keep themselves from becoming corrupt? I think not .

The federation kind of bothers me. It seems like they are craving too much power now. Too much control. And they are using phazon. A deadly poison that should just be destroyed. And it seems they are the creators of mother brain, or at least the aurora unit that became mother brain. But I could be wrong. They may have just stolen the designs for a bio-mechanical life form from the space pirates to use as their Aurora supercomputers <_<. Whats next? Are they gong to start using metroids as weapons as was intended by the pirates? Or will they try? Maybe that’s when they realize it can’t be done and they declare metroids too dangerous to exist and send Samus to exterminate them. But, if they first try before realizing this, what could be the cost?

I don’t care if im a little off on some things or not, I just love doing this with games lol.

The Federation has always sort of been the sinister force behind Samus’s orders… if you ask me, Samus only works for them because power-obsessed politicians are better than space pirates. Perhaps a bit of a subtle social commentary on Retro’s part?

Either way… the Federation always struck me as weak and stupid, while the Pirates are only outmatched by Samus. Must be rather frusterating.

You do know what a flame is, right? <_<

Yeah, its a little off and on ( no offense but honestly, I HATE speculation based on wrong/made up facts).

The federation using phazon will backfire (I guarantee it), but its not a bad alternative to getting ass whooped. After all, their PED’s are FAR superior to what the pirates do with phazon.

The CHOZO created mother brain.
AGES before the aurora unit was created. Samus is at least 25 years old, and mother brain was there before the chozo took her in. Aurora’s were created 20 years ago. Do the math. AU’s are rips of mother brain, not the other way.

If they didnt copy MB, they prolly just made a supercomputer that was like a brain. I doubt they took it from the pirates (unless it WAS MotherB).

The federation send samus to destroy the metroids on Sr388 after Mp3, so they dont intend to use them as weapons. They do start a breeding program in fusion, but only for medical/energy reasons. Though if it had been carried out they might have consider them to finish off the pirates (who were screwed after SM.

On Fusion I’m sure they did not have “peaceful intents” on breeding large ammounts of energy drainning monsters. Adam even stated it was possible to create an Omega Metroid from a larva in days… I’m pretty sure they had plans to use those for battle.

Didn’t they even admit that it was for war purposes, or was that jsut for the X?

Im sure that Adam said they had NO intentions of using them for war. He said something about the potential of harnessing the metroid’s energy (like in super metroid), but I’m sure that they didn’t openly have any intentions for war. Apparenlty they only wanted to study their abilities, mainly for medical purposes.

They wanted to study the X and SAX as well, but we all know that would have been doomed, and would screw over the entire universe.

But yeah, the federation never said they intended to use them for war. You can assume, but other than vibes, there’s no hard evidence.

Of course, it’s not like ANY real government would be able to resist, so It wouldn’t suprise me.

If they weren’t interested in using the Metroids for military purposes, they probably wouldn’t be that excited about the fact that they can pump them out like factory products. >_>

But that wouldn’t happen until after Fusion, so…

Meh, mabye, but if you could pump anything you wanted out like a factory, you’d start to abuse it a little too.

Still, according to the game (to my knowledge), the federation didn’t state anything.

Ok, even if the Metroids were not for war, you can’t deny that’s the oly reason they ever became interested in the X. Think about it, they could have an army of monsters, each as strong as a fully powered Samus. They thought they could control the X, but we all know that couldn’t happen.

Meh, I can’t say that either. I’d say they’re just overambitious, and blind. They were probably interested in the X the moment they saw what they did to BSL. Why not add them to the collection, especially if they could control them with their new metroid pets? I don’t think they would be stupid enough to use X for battle though. Research seemed to be their main goal, like I said.
