It says that a vast network links all existing Auroras, allowing them access to a tremendous database. In other words, they’ve got their own internet web. There’s no “center”, it’s just a series of tubes linking them all.
It looks like the GF had already managed to clone the original MB before Samus destroyed her, and they’re using Mother Brains, Father Brains, and Gender Neutral Brains all over the universe, and random simpler forms like B.O.X. from Fusion. There are likely going to be female Auroras that you meet in the game, but they’re not going to be either of the ones we know from Zebes. Maybe they’ll be called “Mother Brains” though.
But it looks like we’re getting the good ol’ boost ball from MP1 back. Quick charge fast boost.
Edit: Anybody else think there’s something really significant and important about the part where the video is extracted from the Phazon in Samus’s eye?
Yeah, I was thinking the same about the brains genders. A perfect excuse to sort of re-imagine a farmiliar character.
I didnt see anything important about the eye phazon thing. We already know that Samus gets infected. It could mean that the aurora unit detects the phazon in Samus and prescribes the PED suit. But It could just be scinematic (thats the vibe I got).

My dad said I cant get it. Apparently school is priority, and hes going to take my Wii and TV. I wont let that happen regardless, but how the hell do I come up with 50$ by the 27th without a job (he normally buys me games)?
Well I can’t say I play video games most of the time, because I only buy games that are staple series’s, but when I get them (FE: twilight princess, I play for hours on end if possible. Anyway, dont worry about that, I just fucking realized.
Watch the video again, this time more closely. They ARE HEAVILY referrencing mother brain. I had never noticed the 2D display of the Aurora units. It’s teh fucking mother brain fight all over again. Just look at this pic of the schematic. Looks farmiliar, right? Wow, that update really was big. It was fucking huge. Dark Samus may be the last boss, but when they throw in Mother brains as well as ridley, damn. This’ll be one hell of a game.

I failed to notice that the last diagram (the Mother Brain level) in the ‘Aurora’ video was labeled “Cross section of Future Aurora Complex.” That just makes things more confusing.
Same here. I was playing with the Photo Channel for an hour more than I intended to last night just because the random fun I was having (switching people’s heads around can be pretty fun and I’m easy to amuse when I’m really tired but can’t sleep.) The system just radiates with fun.
Edit: I’m considering pre-ordering MP3:C from Wal-Mart. The website says that it will begin shipment on 8/21/07 and that I can have it in from 1-7 days depending on the shipping method. Do you guys think this could possibly be a way to get the game up to 7 days earlier than official release?
Well it’s normal for Wal-mart to ship things out before there even released, it just depends on when they get their first shipment (which is normally 1 week before release) I’ve pre-ordered it already so join the party Ed =D
<.< Look at the estimated arrival time, It should be around the 24th to the 28th, but they do come in earlier from time to time. I just used standard delivery, think about it this way, at least you won’t have to bother going to the store where there is a possibility for a long line.

Typically not, because once the stores have a shipment it’s out of Nintendo’s hands and into the corporations. The release date is just a formality that most companies abide by. The stores HAVE to have the first shipment at LEAST a week in advance in order to make sure they have enough to meet a possible demand, Nintendo CAN however limit the amount that each store is allowed.

My cousins a store manager and he handles things like this. It’s really complicated and has a ton of procedures.
Go ahead and order the thing, save yourself a trip. You may get it early you may not it all depends on WHEN Wal-Mart gets its shipment, and notice that the game is currently available online ONLY
