So… what is that a sprite of?

its a sprite of the original concept art of a space pirate.

Loosely based off Cantonbags’s pirate redesign. Not really sure what scale or style this is for…

The contrast is a tad inconsistant, but I like it anyway. Prolly get redone a bit soon.

All my work is scratch unless noted otherwise. And I just started the game, so I have no idea which wyvern you mean. >_> The only ones I’ve seen are the ones in the intro, a short encounter with a Rathalos, and several fights with Yian Kut Kus.

its in one of the gathering hall quests… i think its a level two quest…i havn’t even beat a yian kutku yet i have a quest for one but i havnt done it the gathering hall quests are the best ones…i’ll check after i get red shot gun =)

Hmm, im not farmiliar with that pirate design, nor am i farmilliar with the style. It seems to be more of a super NES palette, using textures (and mabye some dithering) to create shape.

Also, the velociraptor is very well done. I get more and more amazed every time you conjure something up.

Made his feet and head more accurately sized, made it a bit more 3d-ish and hopefully made it tip less… reshaded a few areas…

I did realize one thing. Doesnt the level of the furthest back foot look a bit unrealistic?? It looks like he’s standing on a slant.

I tried to do the feet Mega Man 7-style, where the front foot is slanted slightly forward and the back is level.

Ah, im slightly farmiliar with the style. Therefore, theres not much i can do to criticize it. However, i think it would look better with anti aliasing instead of an outline. The dark blue doesnt seem to justify the realistic shading.

Started on a larger and more heavily detailed Pirate Trooper. Why? Boredom + recent MP2E obsession. Yep. Probably will have absolutely no use whatsoever when it’s done, but hopefully it’ll be damn pretty, so I don’t care.

Well… I can’t say it looks good seeing as how half if it isn’t even there, but what is doesn looks pretty good. Good luck Dazuro.

Funny. Most of my sprites never have any use at all either. And while i can say it’ll look awsome, The parts you’ve shaded look a bit cartoony. I myself have tried several times to sprites the creature, with no good results, but it seems a little out of proportion. I remembered (im probably wrong) the eyes being set further down in the head. Also, shouldnt the head be set further back in the crest?? I dont remeber the head being so far forward. They MP2E pirates upper bodys were pretty humanoid, and they stand up almost as erectly as humans (as far as i remember.

Please dont take this personally. This is just what i noticed off head.

The eyes and head position are nearly perfect. I’ve got the ingame model zoomed in to the bust area and I’m copying it as perfectly as I can.

Lol, i havent played the game in a while, so i guess it was just my recolection. Regardless, i cant wait to see the final version.
