Two things.

One. Coolman, if you were smart … you should never … EVER say something like that to Daz out of sincerity. Trust me, I know him all to well. And so do most of you. That is, of course, unless you want to publicly get a verbal beat down.

Two. Daz … those feet suck. Coolman is right. They remind me of the feet on Zero Mission and Fusion Pirates. And you know … you know how much I hate those. Effin clown shoes …

But organic demon robots with angel wings that assimilate oxygen might be. But its always possible to do something that most people havent seen before.

Not true. There are like a trillion giant robot shows. Ever watched anime unleashed?? Lets see, name a few.

So I was reading the Metroid e-manga, and I realized, those pirates look really cool. Much more like the original art intended them to than any of the ingame sprites. So i decided to sprite one, using a palette based on the SM art version. Here’s what I’ve got so far.

Meh, it looks good, but isnt the head a little mishaped? I remember them being red and blue, not orange, but i havent read the manga in a while. But the head still look a little weird.

And the feet…under breath stupid elf shoes. But i guess thats what they looked like. Once again, i havent read it in a while so i wouldnt remember.

I’d say it’s bland, but I have no right to do so, as the pirate was cartoony and the sprite is miniscule. I guess it’s the best you can do with that thing, Daz.
