how does one get into morphball mode?
if its the space restricting you from using MP3 Music, just use .ogg

It’s INFINITELY better. Maybe 3 glitches remain from the old version.
2 new glitches, and one old one accentuated in this version.
- Holding forward and back… and then pressing control… makes you slide ina ridiculous fashion forward. This can sometimes be carried over into morph ball, as well.
- While you can’t put your head through the ceiling as often, you still can do it. The morph ball tunnel before the frigate: Jump up onto the slopes with a spin jump. Near the ship: jump into the ship. Sometimes, you’ll be unable to jump, but you’ll be able to walk out. Due to the loss of the automorph, however, once you crouch, you’re stuck.
- In a few areas, the collision detection doesn’t match with the tiles. The room before the frigate has two such areas, one right next to the door, and the other at the top of the room.

, also, let me give you guys some advice if i were doing it (and i am not, so you dont have to take it), the tunnel, doesn’t have to be shaped so oddly, it could be just squares like zero mission, and be good, or maybe have little dents, but the square-perfect for morphball-version has always worked, so it would be nice to keep it the same, while you may be sacrificing the “metroid-prime” feeling, you are saving the gameplay, ultimately, the metroid prime feeling isn’t really destroyed, its just changed, to make things easier for players.
There is a way to make bomb jumping higher. I already posted this in a thread but nobody looked at it.

Just thought I’d post this here. It is possible to cancel the cooldown of the missile launcher shots by switching weapon, firing the power beam and then switching back to the missile launcher, allows you to shoot another missile long before you should be able to. You might not be using the missile launcher the way you are now (I’m thinking, binding it to a separate key or something), so this may or may not be irrelevant, but I thought it was worth me saying it. If nothing else, this glitch could be around for the ice beam later or something.
And yes, I did say “cancel”; I’m a fighting game junkie too, so deal with it? xD

Hey Smart dude makeing the land scape a perfect square is imposible. Did you forget half pipes. Otherwise the boost ball upgrade would be neer useless.
PWND? No. He meant that you guys should smooth out the landscape so that it isn’t so rocky like. I agree too. Its pretty annoying to have to jump 100000 times just to get to the other side.
Hmmm I found some weird glitches here.
1)I somehow got no rain effect if you guys did made it.
2)I somehow got stuck between the ship and cant move one bit except you can move left to right but not running.
If these are already posted then its nothing now.
No, I found that a while ago in an older version
. And you can also lay a bomb a little above the ground and jump/morph into it when it explodes for even more height. This is just because the speed morph ball bombs apply to you is relative.
I remember putting that on my list of glitches somewhere… But I’ve been gone for 13 days so I haven’t been able to check over it or add more to it until now D:
Edit: Now that I’ve looked though, I was beaten to a few glitches over at SCU. Glitches I probably would have never found. Those guys are good beta testers.
Hmmm I don’t know you call this weird but I found this big glitch.
While I was playing, and once I got my morph ball. I went to the morph bomb cave and found this. I plant one bomb and waited for a few 1 or 2 sec then somehow I got this shudder move and got stuck in the middle of that tile. If you planted another one then nothing happens no glitch. You just landed on the bottom floor.
This is for the people already beated or got this far.

Ok, two criticisms:

Sometimes it becomes hard to move (like jumping back up during the escape). Unless you practice it’s almost impossible to not get stuck. In short, it’s very cramped.

Graphics: The ship doesn’t bob and it doesn’t even have the smoke/exhaust coming out. Why? Also, if those are all the tiles there will ever be, this game will need alot more to look good. The terrain looks like the work of a broken cookie cutter. (ESPECIALLY the bomb cave.)
The ship shouldn’t bob. <_< Adding the smoke and flames is as simple as… well… adding them. They’re just stationary objects.
The terrain is meant to look natural (meaning, chaotic). Also, this is only the newest demo; check the earliest for a glimpse of the Frigate.
