At first that drone seems gigantic… But if you think about it, it’s about what you’d expect. The arms are never extended completely like that in-game, the drones are always at a distance from you, and from the side it wouldn’t look much larger than Samus.
Well, I never thought about their size ingame, and Sephi’s were like two feet tall compared to Samus, so that struck me as holyshithuge.

Also, I made the secondary item fanfare MIDI today. It was hard to do, believe it or not, and I still think it could use more adjustments.
Try putting some chords in there - fifths, fourths usually seem to do the trick. And the harp seems a bit too far (rhythm-wise) after the rest of the midi.
Also, the overall tone sounds too low - I’d suggest another low-volume staff with some higher notes to even it out.
Looking awesome so far Dazzy, I can’t wait to see it finished.

I dunno, the texture just looks off. It doesn’t feel like it has any depth, either.
It looks pretty flat, but I’m loving it otherwise. Shade it from top to bottom a bit.

I think all you had left to do was add more time between the particle poofs (unless you really want to make that crazy, 40-frame spin anim)

I don’t know if this would go here, but… I was wondering if I could attempt to sprite the fusion suit for Prime. I don’t know if you were thinking about including it, but is it possible? Also if yes, do you want me to keep the Prime arm cannon, or sprite it like it’s seen in Fusion?
edit: random semi off-topic thing: I just noticed that the P2D Samus’ cannon is grey, when in the game it’s green. (no I don’t expect it to be fixed, just throwing it out, and I’m sure there’s a good reason)
As far as I recall, we were having a contest for custom suit designs (Fusion or otherwise) as unlockables, but people started focusing only on spriting suits and completely ignoring anything important so we closed it down until we got the actual game decently far along.
Is that a no? If it is WTH I think I’ll sprite it anyways, it’ll be good experience.

or you could also stop worrying about it and let a Orthogonally projected model do the job. Just make the texture.
Unless someone plans to retake GM P2D in the future, but, as far as MetEngine goes, a model is the way to go.
It only takes like 15 minutes to do, really.
