I don’t think so… We’re not going to use the controller only by pressing buttons, you know. We can use it like a sword, a fishing rod, etc… So, using it like these things would be easier.
And if you don’t like the controller for the revolution, then just buy the game shell. It’s going to be kinda like a standard controller, kinda like a gamecube one or something.
I managed to find a list of classic games that the Revolution will be able to download. Sadly, a publisher announced at a conference that the games will NOT be free (although it hasn’t been clearly said yet…). I think i remember reading that the price would be something like $0.50-$4.00 a game.

It was pretty obvious from the get-go that these games wouldn’t be free you know. Why would Nintendo give them for free when they could make a pretty good profit off of them? Besides, if they did give them for free it would basically be one big Rom site.
Depends, they might get more profit from the Revolution’s themselves. Think about it. Nintendo could get more money by selling the snes, nes etc. games. But, if they gave away games until your harddrive’s content, Nintendo might get more money because people would want the Rev more.

speaking of which, are the memory expansions going to be something you add on, or cards, or flash memory? anyone know?

Nintendo will release memory cards, but you can also use the Hard Drive to store your memory. Kind of like the 360.

But I DID know about the hard drive.
Rumor has it they’re making a DS Player for the revolution. Think, you could use the laser pointer as the touch screen! If they do, I can’t wait for Trauma Centre Under the Knife!!!
I doubt there will be a DS player.
Unless, the view was split screen, and that would be weird.
Nintendo would be foolish to do that, because then the sales of a DS will go down, and people are crazy for DS’s.
On a poll, 77% had a DS, compared to Sony’s PSP, which was 7%…
I heard on the radio a few days ago that the Sega Genesis games will avalible for the Rev.

Nintendo keeps constantly changing the release date, just like what they’re doing with Twilight Princess. I suspect it’ll come out in the midst of June/July. That’s just a guess though.
Nintendo keeps saying it’ll be “before Thanksgiving” (I’m not sure if they’ve clarified which country’s Thanksgiving that is). Twilight Princess looks to be released only shortly before the Revo comes out. There is a rumor that the Revo is coming out in July, but I’m not going to get my hopes up.
Why is it that Nintendo keeps changing the realease date of the Nintendo Revolution why don’t they make up there mind. If they have it now than why won’t they release now or next month.

It’s to build hype. To get lots of sales you have to have people who are anxious.

They’re still trying to fix glitches in it, perfecting it, etc. like every company does months before they release a console. Not to mention it’s been hinted that there’s still something “Revolutionary” about the Revolution that Nintendo hasn’t told us about yet (but they will in the beginning of May). We all know it’ll be virtual reality though.
And they haven’t been changing the release date all over the place. They’ve been saying “Before Thanksgiving” for quite a while. It’s just all the fans and people that are saying “No, it’s June I say, lolol rumor-spreading fun lololol”, and such.
And there are rumors about the Rev being able to download and play Genesis games. My theory is, they’re just perfecting it, getting rid of the glitches and adding little bits of cool stuff to it.
