Super smash bros. Brawl

Actually, it seems like fox and falco handle way differently this time around… their B moves are just similar. But at least their air A moves are different… in that I absolutely can’t control fox, but falco hits directly where I want him to. Falco also performs better in general in the air, as well as jumps higher/farther… But I don’t play either of them nearly enough to know them that well <_<

Honestly, the only things that disappoint me are tiny things about the stage builder and the lag issues online. Not even so much the lag, but the button/input lag sucks. But the stage builder… would’ve been really nice to be able to flip things upside down. I realize it wouldn’t do anything with 90% of the things on there, but it would have been cool to have upside-down spikes or blocks that fly up when stepped on and not down. It also would have been cool to place permanent bumpers or… er… the little sun lookin’ things that roll around the stage… etc.
Or moving frickin’ solid blocks instead of just flat ones.

Okay, I had a really busy week, but I managed to unlock all the characters and stages, and a bunch of other things, so now I’m caught up with the rest of the world and I am now desperately looking for people to Brawl with. I have Redhalberd’s and CloudVaris’s friend codes (Thanks for posting by the way) and now I need MORE. More.

I live in Arizona, so Daz, I believe we’d have minimal lag, and I think I could do okay with a Florida resident, so just point those code thingies out to me, and we’re good.

(P.S. Mine is 5284-1219-3875)

Funny, you guys seem so bent on getting all the little things.

I want all the music personally, but honestly, I can wait on getting all the trophies/stickers/accomplishments etc…

I have all hte characters, and all the stages. Now I just need music, and the “gameplay” portion of the experience will be fufilled.

Oh, and my connection isnt particularly good, as I even have a little lag against some people in my own city. Playing out of state doesnt sound plausible, though I’d be happy to try.

Finally got my Brawl code in my sig. First line. Yeah, music is what I went for too. But yeah, I live up in the Northwest (Washington State), so connection probably wont be hunky-dory for me. Especially considering I’m on Wi-Fi from the other side of my house. But whatever, your welcome to try.

EDIT: Who else thought that Spectator mode was actually pretty awesome?

Well, I figured it would be worth a try, so s123i68 I’ll put you on my list. I think part of the reason is distance from players, distance from router, and crappy Wii online, and I’m not sure if any of those can override each other, but it’s worth a try.

I posted my code, and it’s in my sig, so yeah…

Edit: Uh…s123i68…your code is incorrect. It’s got 16 digits, which is four too many, and my Wii said you’re wrong.

(P.S. Why is Jigglypuff still top tier?)

I’m about the get Nintendo Wi-fi up and running since I finally got DSL (Thank you AT&T). This game is fun in a way, but the last boss is very hard to beat.

Aye, the songs… it’s not fair, we were playing on my friend’s wii, and we got about five songs within one hour, and I play mine, and I might get MAYBE one per hour… not friggin’ fair.

And yeah, the lag’s been pretty bad every once in a while <_<
You could try the solution here, it kinda helped me, but it doesn’t fix the input lag very much… But it helped with everything else.

And yeah, I like spectator mode, but… ugh. It was a fight between pikachu and Ike, and I put about 30 coins on Ike… and then I’m like, “oh, I wonder if I can put some on Pikachu” and I switch over to Pikachu at the last second, only to go “OH SHIT” as the match starts with all the coins on Pikachu… and Ike won. Pikachu didn’t even get a kill…

Whoops…Me=Fail. I simply assumed that Wii Address and Brawl Code were the same. For me, apparently not. New code in.

I’m getting that game for my Birthday today. I LOVE Pokemon and Metroid!

EPIC WIN!!!
Of coarse I’m probably the last one here to find it but it’s still worth posting.
It is such a happy thing you’ll start craping smiley faces.

rofl, nice.
Just to keep it clear and all that, I’ve added Kitty, Halberd, and s123i68

That is without a doubt the happiest thing I have ever seen.

Also, Zelda and ZS Samus’s expressions are the cutest ever.

>__>

<_<

mine’s better

On a more on-topic note, is there any way to use Olimar effectively against Lucario? The bastard just gets stronger and takes no knockback from most of my attacks >_<

Olimar only seems to be effective against slow characters, or lighter faster characters.

Against medium characters, or characters with range, he’s not that easy to use, though throwing pickmin is always a good distraction.

BTW, I noticed that about Brawl. While everyone’s relatively balanced, some characters seem to have gross disadvantages against others, though this was also in melee, less apparently.

Rock paper scissors?

I was full of amusement after watching that video.

Personally I am having a blast playing as Wolf who just seems to exude awesomeness, although Mario is still in my top five, however as I am playing through the different characters, that top five list is jumping all over the place.

Thank you Varis, I have you as well. I also have Halberd and s123i68, which have not registered me yet. I still need Daz and Timmy, unless you two have no interest in playing with me in which case I shall be very sad, and may even become forlorn.

(P.S. I could also cry.)

Yeh, wolf is a beast in 2 ways. To bad I only got to play the game for 1 day before my mom grounded me. >.< a week without brawl will kill you.

Alright, mom’s trying to hook up her computer to the internet as we speak, so my WFC should be working by tonight.

Unfortunately, I have midterms tomorrow, so I won’t be able to play yet.

That… was awesome.

Saria! <3
