Metroid Prime: Hunters

The controls are hard to get used to at first, especially if you use the touch-screen to aim (unlike me), but I found the game to be very, very fun. I’ve only played the first level so far, though, so my experience is limited.

And the intro cutscene is amazing. When Samus zoomed up into the air in the morph ball using the Space Pirate as a ramp then unmorphed some thirty feet up then blasted the camera on the way down… well, let’s just say my jaw is gonna be slack for about a week or such. METROID AWESOMENESS.

is it the same control system from the demo because I have that and it’s not that bad I kind of liked it and if you didn’t like the new style you could always changed it to your liking

Does anyone know where to find the Imperialist our where it is, and when I scan Sytux it the logbook said “He’s suit is a prototye design form the Galatic Federation” and the Sock Coil is also GF design.

Make you wondered who Sytux really is.

Sylux, not Sytux.
From, not form.
His, not he’s.
Geez… :unamused: But ya, I guess.

The controls are basically the same, except you only use the touch screen to move the view around. I think it’s better because you don’t shoot every time you tap the screen.

I noticed that they got rid of the option of shooting with the stylus. There used to be five options (dual right/left, stylus right/left, and the fifth one, which you looked around and shot with the touch screen. You could also move with either the D-pad, or A,B,X,Y buttons, and jump with either L or R, to make it either left or right handed) and now they have four, dual left/right and stylus left/right.

What atack does spire have and what does it do he looks preaty cool but I cant find any info. And does anyone know if ony of these bounty hunters are on samus’s side

No, they’re not on Samus’s side. It’s a free-for-all. They all attack eachother and you whenever you see them. So… ya, you get my point.

Course, considering that Samus, Spire, and Noxus have slightly better motives(Samus= under orders, Spire= looking for destiny, Noxus= protect power from use by evil) you’d think they would band together against Sylux, Trace, Kanden, and Weavel.

Check this and this for details.

Yeah, you’d think that…
But Samus is going to give the ‘ultimate power’ to the Federation once she gets it, and Noxus probably doesn’t count the federation as the ‘right hands’ it should go to.
And Spire… Among other things, he’s made of rock. Stupid block head…
Samus probably just doesn’t want anything to happen that could get in the way of or complicate the mission in any way, I don’t know… shrug

Spire just wants to figure out what happened to the rest of the Diamonts.

It’s safe to say he doesn’t.

Why would she do that? she could easily pwn the GFeds w/ ultimate powaz.

It’s on a big ball of rocky ice. Not a space station. You get it after the first boss in the area.

Um… Because that’s her mission… <_<V

She was ordered to go and retrieve the ‘ultimate power’ for the federation if possible. If not possible to secure it, she was supposed to destroy it or any way of obtaining it.

That big ball of ice? That’s a planet. Then there’s the planet that is… really really hot. Then there’s the data archives space station, and the defence space station.
Anyone else notice that all the areas are really really… small?

The game in general is pretty small, but it’s still worth buying if you like metroid.

I also noticed something. If you remember the video on First Hunt, it showed a space pirate and also some other menacing looking creatures, but I haven’t heard or seen anything about them unless you count the end of the opening video in Hunters.

I haven’t seen the video in almost a year or more now, but people were saying that some of those ‘menacing figures’ were some of the hunters from MPH. But a few of them have had their looks revised since then.

Um, they’re Weavel, Trace, and Sylux in extremely early form.

I already beat the game, I can fill you info If you want…

Wow, you either really like that game, plays way too much, or MPH is really short. Which one is it?

No spoilers please. Kthnx.

And, Coolman, the game came out a week ago. It’s not that hard to beat the game in a 7 days. Especially when it’s a Metroid game. >_>

Yeah, I beat it too, in only two days, so it is conceiveable for it to be too short.
