Metroid Prime 3: Corruption

No.

Also, Red fails. Omega Ridley was far more predictable and easy to dodge. Five spinning lasers of death–nuff said. And even if 313 hadn’t had that… Omega was just pathetic. Awesome, but pathetic.

This game was too easy.
It was easy on hyper-mode.

It’s just an easy game.

It’s awesome, though.

I have been busy, the cp has crash (dang lost all my stuff but rebuilding). I have learn the origins of the Metroid Prime Creature that you fight on Tallon IV in the first game.

(I got this hypothesis about the metroid prime from the Leviathan Infant scan
from Metroid Prime 3 Corruption) scan on phaaze.

The leviathan in Metroid Prime was an older one. An all ready died the red phazon core every year was getting closer to the planets’ original core and replace it with a phazon base one. Thus creating a new phaaze.

The leviathan has an ability that it can lure in a predator to protect it by giving it a big dose of intense phazon and mutating the creature like a Metroid and the Metroid Prime is form to be a leviathan guardian.

Any Comments about this?

uhhh…in english, please? I couldn’t read through the lack of punctuation. And, a source would be nice too…

From a while ago in this topic:

There’s your confirmation.

No, I was asking about the red phazon…

But ALL the bosses in the game were way too easy (though Mogenar wasn’t too bad). The 5 Lazers of death didn’t do enough damage for me to notice, and that was the only decent attack. Omega ridley was easy to dodge too, but his attacks were way better, more varied, and more fun to dodge.

The entire fight overall was better.

I guess I’ll play the game on Hyper mode as soon as I find the last 3 powerups.

How do I know where to look for them?

Some of the bosses where annoying, but also some of the regular enemies like Phazon Metroid.

The Galatic Federation didn’t know about the pirates taking AU 313 from its original ship the Valhalla and then placing it on phaaze, thats how Dark Samus commanded all the leviathans to go to those planets the first on was the Pirate Homeworld. And then we know the about the other planets.

Did you activate the satellites in the Chozo Observatory?

Also there are a few items in the Valhalla and in Bryyo Ice that don’t show up on the satellites.

I beat Rundas in one try, with no hyper mode activations on hyper mode.

It took me like no less than ten on normal.

This pisses me off because you guys were all *“Shit I died on the Berserker, this is hard as hell.”
*I’m not sure if you did say that though. It still bums me out though.

edit:

I started Hyper mode.

It’s VERY satisfying. The pirates take a satisfying amount of oomph to take out. The berserker lord also took a nice amount of effort to take down. Ridley didnt feel hard enough though, but Im pretty sure this will be more satisfying.

AND IM SOOOO GLAD you dont have to rescan everything. So now I dont have to check the guide every five seconds to make sure I didnt miss a one time scan.

Now I can kick back and have fun with a challenge.

I have beat the game on Hyper, it took me 3 try to beat DS and the AU 313. I did something different than what the guid book said. When you pull to cover off of the AU just charge your phazon hyper beam, it does more damage and then you maybe able to fire one hyper missile in the process after the charge effect goes away. Hope that help.

I wonder what is the next Metroid Game going to be? At the ending we have seen that strange ship right? Will there be a new metroid game for the WII or DS?

Yeah, I just beat the game. It was very…gamey? I don’t know, I feel like the ending was missing…a lot. The whole Phaaze area was very short, and felt rushed, and the Aurora Unit seemed tacked on, and kind of…anticlimactic. Plus, come on! We’re supposed to believe Dark Samus is dead? Wow…she exploded, kind of like she did three times in two. If that’s the end of DS it doesn’t make any sense. I liked the game, I found it way better than 2, but it could have been much better. Oh, and the Valhalla was freaking creepy. I might try Hyper Mode later, but at this point I’ve had enough of Metroid for a while.

(P.S. Nothing can stop the unstoppable, unless the unstoppable have been previously stopped, which would make them stoppable, and anything can stop the stoppable, even if they don’t stop.)

Um, Dark Samus requires Phazon to live, and you destroyed the source of all Phazon. Even if she did survive being vaporized (again), she won’t last long. >_>

You seemingly destroyed the source of all phazon, and apparently there is none left…except for the phazon the Galactic Federation harvested off Aether… Dark Samus lasted long enough to get to Aether, and since you supposedly removed all Phazon on Tallon IV, that doesn’t exactly follow. I don’t know, I could be crazy, but that defeat did not seem like a “total atomic disruption.”

(P.S. “Phazon? Why are you talking about Phazon? Kazon could totally beat Phazon!”

         Quote, from Julian.)

Yes, but Phaaze was THE source of ALL phazon. When it blew up, it supposedly destroyed all phazon there is.

Lets see, Phaaze is the source of all phazon right? Since the planet is gone, all of the phazon must be gone as well. I think that Phazon has a link to Phaaze like a communication. Does anyone remember the phazon growths, and when you defeat what ever there were sending a strange signal to a phazon creature, then they blow up.

And Nintendo said, “that Prime 3 Corruption will end the Phazon series on Metroid.”
Something like that.

Yeah, thats a fact. So like it or not, prime 3 is the end of phazon and dark samus.

But honestly, phaaze itself didnt feel complete. They didnt explain phaaze BEFORE DS took control of it. Apparently it was sentient and sorta old.

So why didnt it infect other planets besides Tallon IV and Aether? Back when I first learned about phaaze, I was hoping to battle planets core itself or something. Aurora 313 felt sorta tacked on. Lik it wasnt the real boss.

edit: Nvm. I beat Mogenar.

Honestly, the guy who wrote the guide clearly didn’t experiment enough. If I listened to everything he said in it, I’d never beat the game. Some of his boss techniques are just…wrong. It took me a couple times to find out what to do, but I beat him. Not that it wasn’t a bitch.

Hypermode is very satisfying though.

I thought Modenar was easy myself… It took a little whil to beat him, but it certainly was not hard.

Exactly what I was thinking. They left so many questions unanswered…

Dark Samus and Aurora 313 aren’t what created and spread Phazon in the first place. In fact, they both probably came in very, very late in Phaaze’s entire lifetime, and it seems their main roles in relation to Phazon were only to help spread Leviathans strategically and manipulate the Pirates (and of course, push the self-destruct button on Phaaze after they died). There just has to be more to the story…

I too was really hoping to fight the planet itself somehow, traveling deep within to finish it off, then escaping in an intense, frantic, victorious race for survival. All that happened was a short sequence that ended in boring, drawn-out battles against the two bosses we all knew we’d have to fight eventually, and Samus magically escaped.

Oh well. Complaining won’t get us anywhere.
