But I can tell you if it’s not Sylux, it’s nobody we’ve seen before. Because they said that Dark Samus would be killed in Metroid prime 3, and that all concerning Phazon would be wrapped up.
I doesn’t look at all space pirate related.
They said all the hunters color schemes match their ships, so Sylux is the only option there, and has even been said to be following Samus.
Sure, there could be another option, like Sylux’s brother who also stole Federation Technowledgy, but other than that, It HAS to be him.
It never said Dark Samus was killed, only that Phazon was gone. It could easily be another Federation person with a similar ship. It could easily be a new character with a similar ship. It doesn’t HAVE to be anyone.
The game never said Dark Samus was killed, but Nintendo did. And I really hope they arent liars.
Sure it doesn’t HAVE to be Sylux, but why would another federation person do exactly what Sylux is doing IN HIS ship (though you say it doesn’t have to be his). I still can’t see it being a new character with a similar ship. I don’t see why they’d make it that similar unless they wanted people to recognize it. There wouldn’t be any kick to it unless they did.
Hell, I just got to Elysia, and I’ve already used it 28 times. And I use it sparingly, because of the energy tank cost (though I have all the energy tanks so far).
I never use it except for when I fight the Seed bosses or when there’s a “Maybe Phazon energy could break it” door. It usually takes four uses to break a boss, unless you miss a shot, or two. I really goofed on the second one but I hated it too much to try again. The rest are all because of whatchamacallits firing Phazon grenades.
Edit: Also I’m guessing I missed maybe half the logbook. I even missed Admiral Dane.
Hey, it may be crap compared to the other current systems, but they’re a much bigger improvement over the GC than people seem to realize. Just look at Corruption’s doors compared to the first two Primes’ for a good example.
Sure, there is a noticeable difference between Wii games and GC games, but that pretty much comes from the frame rate difference. Everything we’ve seen for the Wii so far looks like it could be done on the GCN (Albeit some pushing the limits of it), even though the Wii is literally twice as powerful.
I don’t understand what you mean about the doors though-- all I can remember is the ugly design. <_<
Go close to a door in Prime 1 or 2 and it’s completely flat with a crappy ‘ridged’ texture. Do the same in 3 and they’re actually modeled with ridges and indentations (albeit possibly just via bump mapping), looking a lot more realistic and 3D.
Luminous: Prime has never had any true ‘original’ metroids. Tallonian specimens are confirmed to be very different from the Zebesian and SR388 ones.
And as for Rundas, well, that does suck, but at least it’s been recorded?
Well the framerate difference is definetly noticable, but if they upgrade EVERYTHING, I don’t see Wii games looking that much better than Super Mario Galaxy.
I didn’t say anything about it, What do you mean about the doors? The load times?
Just give it a couple weeks, It’ll pop up on the internet somewhere.
You’re some kind of god.
I’m gonna start my hyper-mode run now.
I’m gonna try and shoot for 30 hyper-mode activations. (100% Item collection 100% Log book completion, and < 15:00) And if it’s as hard as it sounds, that’s going to require an exponential rise in my skill level. For the glory.
