Metroid Prime 3: Corruption

Normal  I didn’t scan EVERYTHING but I was close and I didn’t feel the need to hunt down all the missile expansion because I NEVER USE THEM! I guess I was pretty mythotical in my pace a I lucked out on finding somethings but I still out lost hunting for things a few times so yea, normal would qualify.

Ah, okay. So I guess I prolly wont dig through the game the first time around either.

So wait, they have Normal mode, Hard mode, than Hyper mode?

Is hyper mode just a SUPERHARD mode, or how does it work?

BTW, Im working on a new Rundas sprite. Since you guys have played the game, could you go critique it?

I’ll tell in a bit. You’ll probably be in hyper mode the entire game or something.

Oh, wow, being in hyper mode for the whole game sounds very challenging. Prolly not (though I couldn’t say, because I’ve never played the game >_<).

SPOILER QUESTIONS*********

Also, when Ed said that other hunters made an appearance, did he mean IN GAME? or just references and stuff.

Rundas dies, doesn’t he? >_<

No I have not seen them. Fuck you IGN.

You have to kill all the hunters, Rundas included.

OMG wow. Why’d you have to go and say that. Now I just want to go and Youtube it.

Oh, where I read, they didn’t say you had to kill Gandrayda. But it seems like a waste of characters almost.

Anyway, more yes or no spoiler based questions.

*****************SPOILER QUESTIONS-yes or no answers please. *

Is there a phazon planet, and does the final battle take place there?

Do you feel that the space pirates are better explained in this game?

Are Metroids related to Phazon?

Well if it’s part of the final ending, who else’s ship would it be? I haven’t seen it, but that makes sense. Why would they just show a random ship or something at the end? Does the ship occur anywhere else in the game? If not, it’s probably the Delano 7.

IGN said it like they where gonna be within the game, not the end >_>

I’m pretty sure the game is everything that’s on the disk labeled Metroid prime 3 corruption, so they can get away with that.

What!?

I hate those stupid energy cells… I was really enjoying the game up until I was forced to try and find the last one, backtracking and running aorund the whole planet for atleast 3 hours… I got so annoyed I had to look up a guide, which dissipoints me even more… =/

>_>

You don’t need all of them.

Edit: Just saw the 100% ending again, and had a thought.

God you guys are quick. I’ve only just gotten screw attack.

Other than that, the ending was not as epic as I thought it was going to be. Crappy dialog, bad cutscene … I was not impressed. I was hoping for something a little bit better. Oh well. The game itself was awesome.

And as for that Theory of yours, Daz …

All I know is that this better not be the last 3d Metroid game. Yeah, sure, I want more 2d Metroid iterations and all, but the engine that Prime 3 is based off of is great. Its like the Wii was made specifically for Corruption, or any Metroid game that may follow (and Wii Bowling, haha). Anyways. Its a great engine to build a game off of, and Nintendo / Retro better not let it go to waste. I would love to see Fusion on the Wii. It would never happen, but it would make my head explode.

I agree, 3d metroids CANT die here. Especially after it’s just been perfected with prime 3. I’d actually like to see Metroid 2 remade. After all, it takes place right after the prime series, so it would feel nice and continuableistic (not a word).

They could spice it up, make it more interesting instead of just fighting a Metroid EVERY single time for a boss. I know there’s less potential for what they could do with it, but that’d make it more interesting.

If not M2, then Fuzion would be KICKASS in 3d. I can’t even really imagine how amazing it’d be. It’d take ages to make, but Axion, your head wouldn’t be the only one to blow up. : )

I’d prefer M1 or Super, and to see some continuity added with the pirates and their experiments with metroids/fuel gel and such, details about how the Auroras are linked with Mother Brain and such…

So anyway, for all those who beat the game, why do the other hunters turn evil? I know it’s from Dark Samus corrupting them, but why isn’t Samus corrupted?
