Not that i dont agree, but some people will say that immunity isnt evolution. They generally say that evolution is a fish turning into a lizard. But immunity is evolution. That’s why some diseases are extinct. However, lots of diseases arent…and you know why?? They evolve faster than we do, to keep our immune systems on the run. I’ts a great example, but i just wanted to expand on it.

Out of everything I hate, the thing I hate the most, is THIS PLANET. The planet is filled with a bunch of people that don’t care, don’t see, and don’t know exactly what life and being in this world is about. but no, it’s all about, ‘Money, XBOX, Women, breasts, pronography, cigarets, drugs, and other stupid things’ <–this is what makes me want to Nuke this world. If I had a nuke in my power, I wouldn’t hit it at the ‘enemy’ because then that would cause millions of people to die, nevertheless it wouldn’t solve ANYTHING!! It would just continue the wars, pain, and suffering. Sometimes, when you can’t control something, it’s best to get rid of it. If I could somehow move to another planet where I alone could live in peace I would be grateful.
Infact thats another thing, you people pollute this world, and in the end say, ’ OMG! NO WHAT IS HAPPENING! THE WORLD IS ‘ENDING’ ’ and then you blame it on the jews… so if you simply throw trash outside your home and collect a bunch of desease carrying ticks, mice, and other critters and then when the big one comes, you don’t want to blame yourself so you blame jews.(This takes place when the Bubonic Plague age began. God is referred to as “He”, to help humans understand who he is. Men are the stronger, more logical sex of Humans. God IS the epitome of strength, logic, and love. I believe the Bible says that as Wisdom, Love, and Might, but don’t quote me on that. Either way, God acts more like a man than a woman. When Jericho’s time was up, the walls came crashing down and the day was Israel’s (you can go see the walls yourself. If I remember correctly, Rahab’s section of the wall is still visible too.) When Babylon had finished God’s use for it as punishment for the Jews, he allowed the Hittites to take the world’s mightiest empire in one day. Ever seen Sodom and Gomorrah? The city is burnt down to the foundation by heat that scholars say would be produced by the levels of energy that nuclear bombs create. That is a BIG God. Pillars of salt (one of which was Lot’s wife) still stand near the city.
The Bible has more proof to it. If I need to, I can dig it out and mop the floor with you a bit more. I may have an old book, but the words in it are from a God whose power we can’t equal with all the nukes in the world.

If you continue to deny God, I can guarantee that you will meet him face to face one day. However, you will not hear “Well done, thy good and faithful servant” like you would wish. Maybe something like “Be thou gone, worker of iniquity, I never knew thee!” would be what you would hear. The choice is yours.
And if you call that a flame, you would basically be accusing God of the same, as his book is where I got that from.
If he doesn’t want to accept your religion, it’s not your place to force it on him. Yes, that post is a damn flame (not to mention sexist as hell), and no, that’s not accusing God of anything. You’re twisting his words to justify your own ignorance. So I’m giving you one unofficial warning: this debate WILL remain civil. Or else you will be forcibly removed.
Now, a bit more on topic, I’ll offer my opinion.
God and such exist, but not in the form described in any dusty old book.
The bible has been translated, retranslated, modified, added to, subtracted from, and generally corrupted many times by corrupt papacies and other religious leaders. They modified its content to assert control over parts of the lives of their minions that they otherwise would not be able to. They used it to force their own views on them by pretending that they were God’s will. And in my opinion, the bible is therefore nothing more than a bastardization of everything good about the religion and not a damn word of it should be taken at face value.
Not to mention, if ya ask me, the true sign of faith is not blindly following a creation of man that supposedly is linked to God… if you actually had said faith, you’d be able to believe in and understand and follow His rulings without having a crutch of meaningless papers and letters.
Of course, this brings forth the question of “why would he let his writings be corrupted so” most of the time I mention it. The answer to that is simple: free will. Humans are not instinctive or controlled by a pure fate. The very essence of humanity is that we can make choices beyond God’s dictation. Sadly, this essence plus a position of power leads to severe problems at times–such as, again, the corruption of the stories and truths. Heh, that again proves why the book has to have been corrupted–God directly interfered and FORCED people to obey his will or else suffer immediately, whereas his original teachings seemingly state that we have free will in our lives, and it’s only after death that punishment or reward are truly administered. See? The book can’t even keep its own story straight…
They’ve found ‘proof’ of some stories from it, and somehow that ‘proves’ that it all happened in their minds. But all that really means is that they found evidence of what it once was–of the original holy book that is all but lost on modern humanity.
So much in science and nature goes directly against what is written there, and that’s simply because at the times when it was being written, that WAS what we knew of science and nature, so things were changed so that the simple, uneducated people could understand. Sadly, the modern bulk of Christianity is too set in its ways to accept that it has a long history of change and corruption, and continues to accept everything in the book as gospel. (Ha ha, punny. >_>)
Sorry if this rant offends any fans of the bible, but hopefully it will at least inspire you to think a little before blindly following a book. Because fact is, it WAS retranslated and reworded to fit the church’s ideals. Whether you want to admit that God’s Book has faults or not, it’s a simple fact. If you try to deny that then you’re stating that God wants us to own slaves, that racism is okay–but only to certain races, and that women are essentially useless. You really think that kind of stuff was in his original teachings? No, that was just more lies added by the religious leaders.
And if you can’t trust some parts of it… how do you really know what you CAN trust?
In short… that would mean that, for instance, God created the universe, there were problems with slavery in Egypt, Moses saved them, and general stuff like that. But everything most certainly cannot be accepted as happening exactly as depicted, because the book is not what it once was.

Of course, it’s impossible to keep a book accurate after thousands of years, but i always thought it was to obvious to mention. People would naturally need to alter it to fit their own needs. It’s not about the fact that it’s inaccurate, it’s moreso the fact that it was unjustly modified to enforce rules and keep the church in a tyrannical position. After all, if it was merely inaccurate, well, it’s still symbolically representative of the actual events so it wouldn’t be so bad to continue following it… although I’d still consider it rather weak to require such a crutch for faith, but whatever.
I don’t know which version of the Bible you are reading, but it never says women are useless. Ever heard of the Judge Deborah? She lead Israel against Abner in the Promised Land, and defeated him. Sounds pretty useful to me.
I may not be a female, I may be. Not for you to know. Either way, you saw one sentence and spouted out some of the purest junk that I’ve heard in weeks. If you think I am saying that men are closer to God (and therefore better) than women, I am not. The Bible says that “All have sinned and come short of the Glory of God.” That means what it says, all. It also says that “We are saved of grace, not works, lest any man should boast.” Get it? One sin, and a person is no better than Hitler in God’s eyes. The “He” is just a tool to help us understand God’s character. We know as much about what physical gender God is as you know about my gender.
Also, there IS a correct, uncorrupted version of the Bible still around. It is the original Hebrew Bible, and it is still in the same state it was 2,000 years ago. The King James Bible cannot be completely airtight with the Hebrew one, if for no other reason than the different languages. However, in all those versions, I feel that there must be SOME change from what God spoke, due to man interfering. That is, the translated Bibles say what God meant (for the most part), but the Hebrew Bible says what God himself truly said in the Hebrew tongue.
Also, if you believe in God, why do you not think he could keep puny beings like us from meddling in his Word? Sure, there have been bogus translations of the Bible, like the one that portrays Jesus as a female (the Hebrew Bible calls him “The Son of Man” for a reason) and the ones that say that by “thou shalt not kill” means “kill,” not the equivalent of the English word murder. If you deny this, tell me just why God ordered the Israelites to spread a lamb’s blood on their doors at the passover. But through it all, there has always been at least one accurate version of the Bible.
I explained exactly why he doesn’t prevent us from meddling. Because he gave us the ability to make our own decisions. He gave us the power–what we do with it is up to us. If he interfered every time we used it a way he didn’t like, we’d never learn from our mistakes.
Sadly, thanks to people like you, we don’t anyway.
I realize that God gave us free will, but we can’t “learn” the Bible back after our foolishness has destroyed it. Given that it is inerrant and came from God, we could not hope to duplicate it as humans. People have meddled with some versions, but the original Hebrew Bible is still there. You can go read one if you want. God has had his hand over his Word for as long as it has been on this Earth physically, and he has preserved it. Also, God pronounces a curse on all who change the Bible, which would logically mean not to change the meaning of it, not not to translate it.
