but that’s not why i’m here. i wanted to know how can i contact ^___^, or francois if you wish, in the matter of the translation thingy, cuz i tried sending a pm but the thing wouldn’t let me :S there must be a problem there going on… if not, then this computer does suck!

and also, when is the next update of that file coming up? i haven’t been notified about it and i really wish to continue doing that (i’ve been quite exited lately cuz i finaly get to help with something :stuck_out_tongue: hehehe)

Here ye go, it’s completely finished
I’ll pm you the password to open it.

I think you can translate it on your own, it doesn’t seem like ^___^ will return…

could someone send me the samus sprites we have so far I thought I could edit them and make a gravity suit or a phazon suit.

The current varia isn’t finished yet, and when it is, MH is going to do the recoloring.

If you really want something to do, check the Sprite list at SCU, (4.0) which is 100% accurate to whats done and whats not. Alot of the “Abandoned” Ones could be edited from the original also.

ok thanks but where do I get the original abandoned ones?Theres no link to them.
Anyways I edited the morph ball from metroid prime using adobe photo and I got the spiderball:

Use the link cuz it looks really awkward when I post it on here.

Actually, the “Spiderball” is the upgrade, not the actual thing. MH already covered the spiderball with the Samus Sprites. And, all our sprites are made from scratch, not edited off of anything else.

Hey, Raine here, back to annoy all you guys.
Actually, I think I might be able to help some with programming. My specialty is visual effects, but I’m not limited to it. Here’s some of my almost-useless crap which I’ve held on to:

http://home.ripway.com/2005-6/337853/Wavefieldtest.gm6 (15 Kb)
A poor-quality test project I was doing for “wave fields”, which is my psuedo-technical term for the surface of water.

http://home.ripway.com/2005-6/337853/terrain.gm6 (12 Kb)
Another throw-together demonstrating a pixel-perfect terrain destruction system.

http://home.ripway.com/2005-6/337853/firedemo.gm6 (7 Kb)
Most people don’t realize that much more realistic fire effects can be achieved at a lower speed cost by simply using sprites instead of built-in particles. This is a basic demonstration of such.

And here’s some not-so-useless better-than-crap:

http://home.ripway.com/2005-6/337853/Techn…meplayv0-03.gm6 (57 Kb)
The in-progress engine of my current project, Technocracy. All character sprite animations are on a single still image, and the HUD is drawn using surfaces. Other than that, not much interesting going on.

I’d be more than glad to help out however I can, if you guys need anything in the programming department. Unless you don’t think I’m up to snuff, in which case you have my full permission to bash me as hard as you like.

–Raine Sabaal, over and out.

Looks all very nice, you should talk to CFX if he can use your help, you should pm him if you want.

This topic will be locked. If you want to sign up, join the SCU forums.
Why? Because we’re concentrating all p2d progress over there, it’s just easier that way.

Thanks to all people who contributed here!
