Ok, smartdude, the whole remake thing seemed like a good idea to me, but that was until you started suggesting all of this bougus bullshit like invisibility and adding new weapons and deleting old ones. At this point you aren’t remaking M2, you’re making a whole new Goddamned game with the same objective: kill 50 metroids.

What do you mean “wtf”? I wasn’t attacking you, I was just trying to say that too many upgrades and some bogus things like “invisibility” would just be too much. For example:

It would be like remaking Battlefield 1942 and giving it a ton of extra kits that aren’t really special or necissary. Yes, some things are good, but too much just ruins it all.

they will mostly be used just for atmosphere and finding a couple bonuses.

guys, im really sorry, i have been an ass lately, i just really think some of these things could improve the game without taking it down, since they are very simple powerups, and mainly just kinda add to atmosphere like prime.

im really sorry for being like this lately guys.

Due to the extreme language involved (Ok, fuck is extreme for me because I don’t say it all the time), I took it as a defensive strike back at me.

For some reason that just turns me off…

Ok… I you’ve played any battlefield game you’ll know what I mean (especially battlefield 2). Ok, you have a pre-set collection of equipment you can spawn with, right? Well there’s all kinds of mods and stuff for the Battlefield series, and most of the new weapons involved do basically the same thing. It’s like heavily watering down an alchoholic beverage.

num pad 2 does the same thing as down key.

not on mine, your keyboard reads different then mine, ill get it fixed up in a little bit.

numpad 2 is also down arrow, though it shouldn’t read that way for this.

can you make this game work with controllers that plug in through usb?

alright, fixed all the collision problems. here is a list of things to do before demo…

  1. new controls
  2. fix up aiming system
  3. fix shooting collisions
  4. create custom controls
  5. finish map

and then i can do the demo, though i will most likely get stuck along the way with something trivial.

what are the controlls for the demo of walljumpin? i have a laptop, so sum keys mite b differnt

for that one, just press arrow keys to move, and numpad 2 to jump

well, ive got a control method for zero mission rom:

arrow keys:move/duck/aim up
v: jump
c:shoot/bombs
x: r for missles/ p bombs
z: diagonal
?: start
ctrl under ?: select

thats the method i came up with after 10 mins of customising controlls, and it works perfectly

meh, i already have thought up default controls

s- left
f - right
e- up
d- down

k- jump
j- shoot
n- missiles
h- visor change
m- weapon change
L - diagonal shooting

but then again, you can change them, so if you dont like them you can always change them.

also, i just fixed up all the glitches i have found.

glitches are pretty much fixed (there are some in there if you noticed),

just a question, i would really like to know if you think it handles well?

I don’t understand what people see in those MMORPGs… They just waste valuable time (even as far as games go, those take even more time to do and usually require constant attention; I’d rather me writing or modelling, thank you).
