Bethesda.
Morrowind, Oblivion.
But they need to stop. Stuff is already out about the next one…
They’re milking TES to much.
Speaking of Bethesda… http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Take-Two_Interactive
And, by extension, Rockstar!
EDIT: Okay, I’m taking off EA. They’re a publishing company, not a developing company, and they suck anyway.
Bungie comes to mind, but overall I would say Bethesda. The Elder Scrolls are awesome.
The problem with them stopping is that, right now, there isn’t anything left to do in Oblivion. We need more!!!
Ubisoft is good for Heroes of Might and Magic 5, and a few others. Blizzard for the StarCraft. I also like Koei for the Dynasty Warriors games. Capcom for Onimusha and Resident Evil 4.
What games did Valva make?
You fail SO bad.
Valve is Steam. Steam is Half-Life.
Never played Half-Life…
…
GO GET IT RIGHT NOW WTF.
It’s THE mother of all FPSes (except Doom).
Unless it runs on a ATI Radeon X800 Graphics card, and not running sound doesn’t give it a fatal error, I don’t have anything to run it on.
It’s pretty old.
Half life is pretty old, it probably will.
It’s like HL2, but less pretty (Still got great art design), worse physics (IE, doesn’t use kickass physics engine that I lovehavok), and arguably better AI. Yeah, go play it, now.
(Oh, and find your sound card, and get the drivers, that -might- clear up your sound problems)
Don’t really like FPS
.
You can’t really say that unless you’ve played any good ones.
HL2 is less of an FPS, and more of a first person story driven experience, where you shoot a bit. You know, if you feel like it.
I like that =P.
It’s true. Except for some of the boss battles, which you can hax for the most part anyway, there’s no focus on shooting. It’s not like Halo, where it’s 3 enemies copy/pasted 15,000 times over the course of a few levels with nothing else for a challenge.
And in the case of Half-Life 1, it’s goddamn exhilarating. It’s atmospheric like nothing else. You’ll shit yourself repeatedly. You’ll be scared and feel sick to your stomach, and go “WTF OMG” out loud every now and then. Really, really consider getting it.
HL1 is a masterpiece.
HL2 is a fantastipiece.
Play both. Then the episodes.
Then be annoyed at VALVe for taking so long to release an episodic title, though you know it’ll be great.
Halo 1- 7 different enemies
Halo 2- 9 different enemies
Halo 3- 11 different enemies
n00b.
<_________<
I find it hard to beleive that. There is covenant (and variations) and flood (And variations), plus the flying blue guardian things in 1 ![]()
Not that that really matters once you’re friving through them in a warthog.
I’m only half way through 2, and I finished 3 on legendary in a day (First playthrough, who says it’s easy, eh?).
The fact that you actually know how many different enemies there are and that you’ll go to such lengths to call someone who doesn’t a noob makes this conversation all the more entertaining.
Anyway, I feel like a moron with either a bad case of OCD or Dyslexia. I played HL2 and then HL1, because I liked HL2 so much. Anyway, both=pure awesome. Valve for the win, except for the whole taking forever to release new games…
EDIT: Had to go in and fix grammar errors twice. My brain IS messed up.
EDIT 2: Fixed another grammar error. Someone slap me.
someone who doesn’t a noob
Don’t you mean isn’t? ![]()
Actually, no…I think. Looks again Yeah, that should be right. I’ll take out the comma, though. That might help blend the sentence a bit more…God, I’m really tweaking or something. Can’t believe it’s gonna take me three edits to make the post look correct.
