So what exactly is the light source that’s so brightly illuminating his right leg, which should be shadowed by his body from that angle?

Also, any particular reason the Zeta and Omega are at 3/4 angles while the rest are flat-on side views, making them not work together at all?

Also, the queen’s forehead appears to have a tumor.

I support Dazz’s points, and I would’ve appreciated feedback from you about my edit, CMC.
How about you keep the Omega’s original size and make everything bigger (to its scale)? It’d be easier to sprite but more time-consuming.

The shape wasn’t the point of the edit, more the shading. Try and stick more to the original style, you’re deviating from it and I personally don’t like the look of it.

Quite true, but you did seem at first to reduce the Omega Metroid and then make the other Metroids in the same style.

if i made my alpha like you did, it would look too flat imo
though the gamma and zeta might need a bit flattening out…
not that much though
also, look at a turtle (i know its not the same)
but the shell, if it flat and smooth, or crumbly and messed up?
