I took three semesters of Japanese in college so far. I know a bit, and can read a little bit too. I can fully read Hiragana and partially read Katakana and very few Kanji.
Japanese is a cool language, but german has funnier words.

Personally, I think it sounds like Germans are either angry as hell or singing, no matter what they’re saying. It’s nearly impossible to speak the language without sounding mad or ‘bouncy’ in some way…
