You need Ridley for the cutscene in the frigate. I know the cutscenes will be handdrawn but please note that in the real game, for a few seconds after the cutscene, you can look up and see him fly away.
Someone else already made a flying Ridley. That would be perfect for the cutscenes.
As for the boss battle at the end, thatâs the thing that Iâm making.
I guess I could make more poses for the battle, but the animation wouldnât be easy. Iâll need help on that.

I go by Pyxel, like Pixel. Happens to be the name of my design studio. I am just an avarage eighteen year old guy who is currently a student at North Lake University.
I was searching around on the net and stumbled upon Samus.Co.Uk. The site was fairly decent, but I saw the little Prime 2d link, and was stunned when I found that a team was trying to convert Metroid Prime into a sidescroller. Pretty cool idea! I guess this forum is not the main forum, but rather the Samus.Co.Uk one ⌠but I thought I would join up here, seeing as there is a pretty large fangames section.
I personally program and sprite retro style games ⌠and strangely enough, I happen to be working on a Metroid styled game (at the moment; however, I usually work on my own creations, not fangames). Anyways, enough of that. Hope I can contribute, and all that doo da stuff âŚ

That rule should definitely be changed. And Dazzy should really quit swearing, it doesnât set a good exampleâŚ

Dazzy is like the poice, the president, the senate and the king all combined into one guy. He does whatever he wants, (if it turns out to be a good thing or a bad one).

Be polite when discussing things, also. Not necessarily Virgin Mary polite, but certainly taking consideration for other users. As stated, if you post something rude or flammatory in a topic you are CLEARLY in breach of the rules of this forum. You cannot say you were not warned, as, well, we wonât even buy that poor attempt at an excuse.
Dazzy, as the âkingâ of this forum, you should obey the rules most, in my opinion. And besides, breaking the rules for your own purposes sounds more like âTyrantâ than âKingâ

How does that say âNo swearingâ? It says to be polite while discussing things. Thatâs not the same thing as âDonât swearâ.
And anyways, I donât see why people are offended by most swear words. Most of them mean the exact same thing as other words, and people donât get offended nearly as much by those other words. It doesnât make much logical sense.
Sure, itâs good to only swear when youâre really angry, otherwise nobody will be able to tell if youâre angry or not, but itâs not like swear words are things to be really offended by unless the person is using them to purposely offend you or something.
Edit: And Daz doesnât swear just because he can. Other people on this forum swear just as often. Itâs not like itâs that big of a deal anyways.

I guess that this forum is meant for everyone, so if you donât like swearing, either donât enter a certain topic or just overlook the swears. And if you are REALLY pissed off, get InvisionFree to add a curse editor (turns bad word into ####)
