MicroSOFT does software for computers. Not the computers that the software is installed on.
So they can put some of those billions into R&D and make Natal into something that Wii players will like. I personally think that it looks like an advanced Eye Toy and I will not buy one.
If Microsoft will forget the hardcore players like Nintendo did, then I will have to turn to Sony and their ulgy black George Foreman grill. I still have an alternative to “party gaming” and “casual gaming”. Even though I kind of think that Sony are assholes and that they are racists. Just look at some of their commersials.
I want action games with tons of blood and dead hobos. Kind of like Prototype. I don’t want a freaking Jeoparty show or another fitness software.

Screw the PS3, get a PC. Pay $400 for one and you can play crysis oh High/Very High.
Then you can emulate every other console, there are thousands of free games, and you get lifetime warranties.

you cant emulate PS3 on any PC known to man, the Cell has 7 fucking cores, thats not possible to emulate on even a quad core.
And guess what, Games use 1 of those cores. So yes, we can. Besides, we’ve got the 6 and 8 core coming out next year, and the 16 core in 2011.
Why would you even need a 16 core? I mean, seriously. Are you planning on running a program built for a fucking super computer?
Zurg, your wrong about that uses 1 core nonsense, the console actually has 8 cores, one backup core, one for the OS and 6 for games, i just said six because that’s what it may as well have. How do you think that GT5P can ray-trace in real time?

I know this because I’m in drafting, and Inventor and Revit use ray-tracing. My ray tracing speeds quadrupled switching between a 260 and 9800. That’s why the Quatro cards are so expensive, they can ray-trace an HD scene in under a second, but games don’t ray trace, so it sucks massively at them.
