What’s it need, colour change, new shape, what?
this is a comment from a person who couldn’t sprite anything if their life depended on it, who has no idea what he’s talking about, but whatever, I’ll say it anyway…
I don’t know if there is a reference for this, but I don’t think space pirate things ever looked organic…
for crying out loud, even some of the pirate models for some of the games were angular and unorganic looking.
Again, no idea what I’m talking about…
and also… the carrier looks kinda like a sleeping bag
Hehe. We aren’t going for complete canon accuracy here…but if we do use a reference, it’s probably Zero Mission, and the ships look like…hm, well, the only way they can be described is giant, flying sperm cells. >.< Fairly organic design, dontcha think? >.<
Not really. Do they look like giant sperm? Yes. But not organically. They look like… um… MechaGodzilla sperm or something. They’ve got joints and sliding panels and logos and such. This just looks like flying vomit. 
unfortunately, last time I played Zero Mission was last year sometime or something 
So I can’t remember it very well…
I shall take this under consideration and reply with an update.
Good sprites, some that I was unaware of.
I really can’t stand looking at the ship though.
The ship is undetailed, can have some things added to it, is unshded, and the general look of it is er…ugly.
I haven’t slept in days, I’m a mean green vomit machine too XD.
LOL, for some reason the animation of my sig isn’t as good as the one in this topic.
I think you’ve animated Samus out of order.
Even though these are your sprites they are all basicly going to be in Metroid Genesis so I’ll post some that I’ve done for the game.
