Um, no. Retro is designing it, not Nintendo itself, and they have no reason to be so obsessed with the wiimote. And besides, the space jump works just like before, so why would they change the screw attack, which works perfectly as-is? The grapple beam makes sense to change, it was too limited before… but making the SA more versatile would make SWing too easy.
Right, and Nintendo is one of the most honest parties. I wasn’t really doubting Retro or anything.

The grappling Pirate sheilds really wins me over for this. Without that, there isn’t really anything too awesome in the video(s).

Have you seen the video yet??? It has got to be the coolest thing ever. It shows that you can grapple enemies to pull them in, then blast them with whatever.

They confirmed a classic wave beam; although it might have a new name, it works in conjunction with the x-ray visor to shoot through walls… that’s the only one seen yet.
