And Hunters didn’t really do it either. There were two with electricity, one with fire, one with ice, and the rest just had different kinds of lasers. And the burning/freezing/visor-scrambling only occured with charge shots, while the other electric one didn’t even get any electric properties besides the graphics. >_>
hmm i feel less rushed to get a Wii now that MP3 is delayed a bit.

Um, she has them in every game that takes place AFTER Prime 3, so she can’t very well get rid of them. <_<;
But no, nothing besides the Varia (which will not get destroyed/lost/stolen) has been revealed.
I think i have a theory for that. They said that samus’ appearance will change throught the game, because she is being corrupted.
I beleive this to be the corruption suit. It cant be dark samus, because we’ve already seen dark samus. And to boot, it has more in common with samus anyway. The knees, boots, and visor more closely resemble samus. But it’s arguable, if dark samus is trying to turn samus into a copy of herself (though it’s been officially stated that the virus is killing samus).
BTW if someone could resize that pic, that’d be ausum.

Um, that is indeed Dark Samus.
and i understand about the suit being corrupted throughout the game. does this mean she will slowly be returning to the phazon suit look? even if so, i doubt she will turn into that picture (which is DS)
Im sorry, but i dont agree with that. How could it be?? It doesnt look anything like previous dark samus models. We’ve already seen the dark samus model for MP3, and even though it’s likely to change throughout the game, i think that’s samus. Some reasons are:
The color: Not only is dark samus almost black, but lighter colors are generally associated with heroes
The knees: similar to classic varia suit knees, which dark samus doesnt have
The visor: Dark samus has a distint visor. This one is much more comparable to samus’s. The lines that go

Well I’m sorry if I’m being blunt, but you must be really dense to not get it. Since when has Metroid had any continuity at all besides SM-Fusion? Samus’s suit changed from M all the way to Fusion, Dark Samus’s hand (overall form I guess) changed from MP1 to MP2, and the mere fact that Dark Samus is actually reappearing after it exploded is also retarded.

I thought her hand was originally an upgraded grab thingy, but Samus showing her corruption sounds much better.
