Ok.I will make ideas and outrage can choose some of the ideas.Smartdude can make other ideas.How will mother brain come back?

Well, I really am not sure whether the mother brain should be in it or not, but in the preview, it shows the mother brain. If you want, you don’t have to have the mother brain. We can come up with a new boss and create sprites from scratch for it for originality. But think of the title “Overdrive” and think of a storyline that will make sense with that. Even though the name “Overdrive” doesn’t make much sense.
Edit: Oh, peoplez…I think I will need some music. I need some sort of overworld music to use for planet Cilon. please help

I cut out, foos…
Space Pirates terraform planet on the out skirts of the galaxy.
Pirates use planet to breed really bad stuff, like 5 foot tall zoomer’s and mega crabs.
All but a few pirates leave.
Samus see’s Pirate ship on her way back to something not related.
She goes to planet to investigate, ship blows up, powers go away, ect.
While on the planet Samus learns of the space pirates bio weapon 5 foot tall monster things…
Mother Brain is there to…

Ah, that won’t work. It just won’t. Her ship can’t blow up, cuz she has it in the beginning of what I already have.

Well I didn’t mean ‘blow up’, I just meant ‘becomes unable to fly untill you beat the game’ Like it does almost all the time. XP plays new demo

guys, im really, really sorry, but i cant help with this game, i am packed with stuff i need to do. ![]()
Is it just me or does this game run incredibly slow now, even in low quality? Try speeding it up a bit by organizing your code and keeping as little calculations as you can. Those are nice rain effects, but they really slow down the game, even with a good computer. I don’t want to even imagine what that would be like with a really bad computer.
Anyway, a few other comments:
Samus still does a little dance thing if you land on the ground holding down and fire, the same dance thing she does when the game begins and you don’t move.
When you are touching an enemy while you come out of invincibility after getting hit, you get hit twice.
I love using IBJ to get up really high, then falling down while firing a huge pile of shots down. Sonic booms with bullets ftw. Too bad you end up breaking the bullet barrier instead of going the exact same speed.
The intro music is a better choice now, and the camera movement for Samus’s gunship flying onto the planet are much improved. It looks pretty sweet.

Yeah, ur right. It does run really slow. I’ll go organize it a bit, and remove some stuff I don’t need. Maybe I’ll decrease the audio settings too. That may make the filesize a bit smaller. And I know about the dancing thing. It has to do with the way Flash Actionscript runs. I will try to fix it, but I sorta know why it does that. I think the camera movement has a lot to do with it. When it moves, Flash has to render all of the other tiles. That creates spaces which leaves invisible gaps in the ground. The Samus character then thinks that it is falling and Samus looks like she is dancing. I’ll try to fix, but I can’t it really isn’t a huge deal.
if ur making a fangame, u prolly shouldnt code it in flash… meh, maybe its just me. whatever do what u want ![]()
…you can code something good in flash…its just i have never seen a good metroid game in flash, lol.
