Hunter vs. Spartan 117

Well, we don’t know if GF troopers have shields or not, but I can see what you’re saying. I would assume that they do not have shields, but other than that, thier physical anatomy would be about the same. They might not have the whole cyborg thing, either. If MC was like a GF trooper, then he would be super easy to kill.

No, not in the least bit. GF troopers are just humans with a strongass metal armor. MC has biological attachments.

In case you don’t know, the GF troopers you fight in Prime Two aren’t fully under the

Ing’s control, so they move sluggishly, fire slowly and innacurately, and are pretty

stupid. If they were fighting you of their own accord, they could likely run circles around

you, and would take a LOT of powerbeam hits to kill. The scan of them says

that their armor is badly comprimised, and that their reflexes are very slow in their

current form.

Ok. Thanks, I didn’t know for sure, but as I said, they look EXACTLY THE SAME.

But I didn’t mean fighting the possesed ones, I meant they got killed by really-easy-to-kill splinters.

I was always under the impression that they were overcome by numbers. There was a shot where two splinters were shot and killed but the very next scene showed a trooper hit in the neck with one. It would have made more sense if it showed him covered in five or more, but I think numbers were the main problem here.

ummm…if u dont know anything about Halo then dont POST

Anywhere??? Oh, you mean just in this topic. And I do know things, but I’m not a Halo nerd.

u think I am?..I dont remember the lasy time playing halo ro mp

No, I never said you’re a Halo nerd, I said I wasn’t.

I agree with you. The splinters were not the problem, thier immense numbers were. I’m pretty sure that in one of the trooper logs, it said that they had found a hive of the splinters and were trying to take it out. I think it said they failed because of the numbers guarding it. Also, just a small little thing. The ones that took out the last of the troopers were Dark Splinters, so maybe the troopers could have taken on normal splinters.

umm…someone should close this before someone gets banned

rereads the past page

What are you talking about? Nobody’s going to get banned from just a discussion.

if you notice when the gf troopers were firing, very few shots hit, but when they do hit, they die instantly. they just aren’t acurrate. at all. there’s multiple times when you fight the flood in halo where you’re overwhelmed with enemies and chief makes it fine. so they cant be close to the same…
and i agree. how can someone get banned?

No. GF troopers can not kill a Dark Splinter with one shot, those things are stronger than warthogs, they can suvive 3 missle blasts a warthog can survive one… And, yes the troopers even say how hard they Dark Splinters are in thier logs.

i know in gameplay its like that, but…
in the movie clip, it only took one shot. watch it
and m possitive that her missiles are weaker, because… well, i can just tell

It took more than one shot. It’s just that the bullets were firing so fast that it was hard to see them all.

How can you just tell? Unless you compare the two, check the damage and put it into energy tanks, i don’t see how you can just tell. Maybe her missles are stronger! and as Dark Samus said, some of the shots are being fired so fast, you can’t even see them. And if Samus’ missles are so weak, then how come she is regarded throughout the Galactic Federation as having the strongest and most enhanced weaponry?

Is this conflct really necessary? After all, pretty much every game is in it’s own storyline and universe. I mean think about it: Is there even an Earth in Metroid?

Precisely. Wasn’t that already stated?

well, the super missile is about the same power of a regular man-prtable rocket launcher, because you need that to blow up part of a tree. if a rocket launcher did that, the whole tree would blow up( unless its at least 15 ft tall, then it will at least catch on fire and collaspe)
