Hi everyone, i’ve been working on a metroid fusion hack that allows more free exploration and ups the challenge a little. It is in fact a rom but I ABSOLUTELY SHALL NOT POST A DOWNLOAD LINK. If you are intersted, contact me via email, there is a little button for that in everyone’s posts. Now i would post a video, as pictures wouldn’t do it justice, but unfortunately my computer can’t handle video capture, so if anyone was willing to post a few 5 min videos of them playing it would be appreciated. thank you and good day.
Theoretically, a vanilla ROM + The patch = Your ROM, it would just take the differences. Perfectly legal, because it’s taking out every last bit of copyrighted content, and a massively smaller filesize
no… you have to make a patch file from your rom comparing it to the vanilla one. i’m sure it will do something like look at the differences and only load those or something. g00gle it or something.
No offense but I really don’t see the point in this. It’s nothing but Metroid Fusion with a few random tile changes which make no sense and add nothing to the game but more inconvenience. It’s not a big enough change to really add more to the game at all. Until GBA hacks are capable of remaking the whole entire game like many Super Metroid hacks out there, I don’t see much reason in them.
There isn’t really any objective to this, I’m just doing this for fun. Also, this is my first hack so don’t expect a completely new game. Now, if you have nothing constructive to say, then don’t say anything at all. Have a nice day!
