I am not sure why it does this and
i’m tired of ctrl v-ing and opening
on-screen keyboard
how can I fix this?

Archius, there’s not really any way that’s possible from what I know about how keyboards work. If it’s not a laptop keyboard, try attaching it to a different computer to confirm whether it’s the keyboard or the computer, and report back to me. If it is a laptop keyboard, try attaching a different keyboard to the laptop for the same purpose.
