I reckon the problem is this: ingame, they’re in 3d. You mostly see them from the front due to the way they’re placed. They wiggle left to right slightly as their legs move, which shakes the crystal as well, but it moves with the whole body so it looks fine. However, from the side, it’s not nearly so noticeable, especially in 2D.
Of course, I might be completely wrong and they shake from any angle, but that’s just my guess as a guy who hasn’t touched Prime in far too long. :<
Yeah, I originally tried side-to-side wiggling, but no matter how hard I tried it just looked like it was growing and shrinking from that angle. I’ll work on un-jello-ing it some more, but it probably won’t get much better.
…omg…
Haven’t seen this one…
you know the feeling when your in love… you want to say a lot of things, but how hard you try, you can’t find the right words!
same thing here! this is BEAUTIFULL!
damn I’m jalous xD
(sorry for this kinda really useless post, but I just wanted to say this oki? ^-^)
I love it, but find it a bit too chromed… His neck is just REALLY good.
It puts my unfinished meta-ridley head to shame… it’s almost a year old. There’s pillowing, it’s too dark… The size is accurate, though, I checked .
Ah, btw this is just to show that MZ done some fine stuff where others have failed ^^
I would have dreamt to have had has much as you have O_O. I should seriously invest in an Action Replay for 'Cube, or get MP on emulator… I really, really like your progress there. Now if the tail segments looked more like the chromed base of his neck, it would look really cool =D.
That has nothing to do with AR or emulators. Metroid_Menace ripped a bunch of models from the game for us a while back. MZ’s a relic from the age when Menace still existed.
Whoops, I was so amazed by the return of Meta Ridley and how great it looks that I forgot to start a new round <_< >_>
Or maybe it was the beautiful conclusion of the 2008 Olympics?
It certainly wasn’t because I’ve been playing Twilight Princess nonstop for days.
…
The following round ends on September 28th, 2008.
Mutant Fish - These are the weird-looking fish found in the Impact Crater, in I believe only the missile refill station room. Energetic waffle butterflies. They’re really small.
Frozen and Living Fish - Today my random Artifact generator likes fish. Frozen fish are found in ice. Living fish are found in water. There are some frozen fish in this video.
Power Bomb Upgrade - That little glowing thing under the giant unstable central dynamo security system.
Floating Phendrana Platforms - Be sure to give Samus enough room to walk around on these. As far as I remember there are two types. The most common is a rocket-powered ice cream cone. The other type is a rocket-powered snow pancake, which can be found in Phendrana Canyon.
Energy Core Devices - The machines with vertical blue pipes found in Energy Core in the Chozo Ruins. You have to activate them all as part of a complex puzzle that involves camera cutscenes showing you exactly which one to activate next and how to get to it.
Sentry Drone - DazzyG is almost done with this.
Wavebuster and Flamethrower Upgrades - I just need someone to recolor the Ice Spreader Upgrade. All the credit will still go to SangueDuMal, obviously.
Grapple Beam Upgrade - Don’t even bother picking this up if you’re playing the NTSC version. Without a cool cutscene to watch, there’s just no point. D:
Ice Parasite - The logbook description says that this omnivorous vermin thrives in a frigid climate and can exist in areas hostile to most life-forms. Don’t they go extinct by the end of the game?
Elevator MIDI - You’ll never find yourself in a situation where you have to jump down a two-mile shaft because the elevator thought you would come in the room at the bottom. They must be communicate with each other over a network.
Giant Canine Teeth - Go nuts with these. They’re everywhere, in every size, sticking in at all angles, surrounded by the deadliest phazon. Dentists are now using the Impact Crater as an example to get kids to brush and floss. Very few molars remain. Only a warrior as skilled as Samus could make it all the way to the esophagus, and even that’s infected with plaque and leviathan guardians.
Thanks Zurg- I’ll avoid that then. As for the AOM, well I don’t/can’t pick anything else as I haven’t finished my sprite =/. I’ve respected its scale, but it’s really small ><. Could I make it bigger? Or respect its original size? (er I’m talking about the Varia/Gravity Upgrade Item sprite)
