I just got a new laptop, Zurg! 3.5 years I’ve spent with this junker, and now I’m moving up! Half the battery life, a slightly larger screen with a crappy viewing angle, 8x the RAM, 3.6x the CPU power, 2.6x the hard drive space, and 23.8x the GPU power! $500! :stuck_out_tongue: (It was $715 factory recertified, and my mom told me she’d pay for part of it, and that was the defining factor that made me go for it now.)

P. S. Where’d you hear that the odd-numbered ones are mobiles? The mobile ones actually have an M in their name, like the GTX 280M, which is clearly not an odd number.

Because it’s EVGA. I use these until they get more 480s, then I put these back in the box and ship them back, and EVGA sends me 480s. :smiley:
