So… ever wonder what the red stuff inside of a metroid is? I mean… it definitely looks like it’s more than just the stuff that holds it all together. But is it it’s brain? (Which I’m assuming it has somewhat, since it can be angered, and at least one metroid saw Samus as a mother-ish figure…) What kind of vital organs would a metroid have? It really has no need for a stomach of any kind, since it gets nutrition from… energy-sucking things.
And how in gods name DOES it make those noises?
Organ sacks. Brain, Lungs, Heart, etc…
Go figure on the noises… And the question remains: What were they smoking when they came up with these things?
Hah… ever realize how ridiculously easy it is to do the flying animation for a metroid in the 2d games?
They just… move. And… bite. And occasionally moving their teeth things.

Anyway, I kinda see your point, except… only about the floating. The translucent thing isn’t that odd, and sucking life energy is almost a common trait in everything between anime, comic books, and video games. Or… maybe I just constantly catch the wrong episodes/issues/games <_<

Now back to the Metroids.
ugh… retarded show.
Something I noticed: in 2D metroid games, they fly with their fangs/teeth going parallel with the direction they move; forward and backward. In 3D games, they fly with their teeth/fangs perpendicular to their movements; left and right.
Not that it matters, just odd.

Or maybe it just easy to make them fly sideways.
Heck yeah. Bouncing cauliflower? They must’ve been sucking antifreeze out of their cars, somking from their tailpipe, and then snorting copper powder. Personally, smoking wadded up algea is my limit.

Mabey the red sacks are open, and they squeeze the air out of them to make the noises.
