Hmm I don’t know if I want Other M since they delayed it. I’m tried of things getting delayed. Nintendo does not want Metroid Other M, Sin and Punishment, and Mario Galaxy 2 to conflict with each other so what! I don’t care about Sin and Punishment and Mario Galaxy 2.
Since Nintendo keeps on doing this I’m might be ready to sell my Wii and all the games I have for it.
It’s PHAAZE, Zurgapussalishious.
It’s map was not “crippled”. There just was not enough Phaaze to explore. It wasn’t just Corruption’s ending, the whole thing was pretty much rushed for 20th anniversary of the Metroid series.
As for Other M. I am pretty fucking pissed off. That was kind of an obvious fact that those games would ‘conflict’. I’m buying Galaxy and Other M regardless. Nintendo should have made this choice a long time ago, not 2 months before the fucking release. They should have told us earlier instead of lying and shit. It fucking pisses me off when they pull this stupid shit.
Wait, how was the ending “rushed” at all? Because it has a thumbs-up, which was clearly a reference to the ending of the most widely-acclaimed game in the series, and one of the most in any series ever?
It appears as if Samus is flashing back to the old days in the new Japanese Metroid: Other M trailer.
We begin with Samus facing Mother Brain before switching back to a similar showdown from Super Metroid. As in the SNES game, Mother Brain has risen again from her tank with a new body.
After this encounter the cinematic action skips to a cut-scene showing Samus in her ship. Check it out below…
I think that the 16 bit stuff was for the trailer only, it would kind of wreck the mood if there was 16 bit moments in that game, just shifting from CG to retro 90s visuals, just my opinion and guess though.
Agreed. The comparison is most-likely trailer specific. There would be no reason to break the smooth cinematic with 16-bit gameplay. Especially since the two scenes follow the same script.
After Super Mario Galaxy 2, Metroid Other M is the game that most Nintendo fans are looking forward to playing to next. Japanese gamers will get thir opportunity on 2 September when the game is released in the country.
Nintendo announced that the game would be released on 2 September and unveiled a newly revamped website for the game.
This release date is just a few days after the US launch date of 31 August. It was originally slated for release in America on 27 June but has been held back for fine tuning.
You can see Samus in Morph Ball action in this new selection of screenshots for Metroid: Other M. Screen Shots
Yo, to all you americans who keep complaining about the game being delayed;
Shut the fuck up. You get all your fucking games like half a year before Europe. So stop whining about your games coming out a month or two later. At least you don’t have to wait a couple of months, reading of other peoples gaming, not being able to play the game yourself, just because of some reason, the game must be fucking translated into every possible language before release in your continent.
Yeah, I was a little late with that comment, but whatever.
Oh, and for other american idiots in generall, when i say “to all you americans who keep complaining”, that does NOT include those americans who don’t complain. I’m not racist or anything.
