Cryengine doesn’t have any limits, so that’s a kinda bad example.
But yeah, I figure they make the maps a little blander than they would without it, and use the spare console resources as a ‘build’ meter or something to that extent.

It helps that Reach has expanded itself to have base building materials as forge objects, when you compare Halo 3, where there were a descent amount of manipulatable objects (especially in Sandbox and Foundry) to Halo: Reach where these resources required to build things like the classic Blood Gulch bases exists, and the only none manipulatable objects are trees and topography thus allowing the engine to not need to distinguish between movable and immovable. That and the way the tech is designed to make distant objects cheap to render.
Come to think of it I may or may not get Reach, the point is I’m sick of the little kids on Xbox Live, they are annoying and disrespectful. I wish they put an age limit on live to prevent these little kids to play the game. But no matter how the game is rated for T for Teens, M for Mature. It won’t stop some parents getting those game for their little kids.
Vote kicks ftw.
if people could join public games in progress I’d be a-okay with that idea, but WotW don’t worry too much about the little fuckers, they will be too busy with modern warfare 2, and later black ops
Votekicks and Vote changes should be standard in any Multiplayer game. PERIOD.
not if when that happens its impossible for someone to join to replace the person kicked and you vote on what map and gametype to play.
And trust me, in games of 4 on 4 or whatever the case may be if someone leaves for whatever reason the resulting 4 on 3 is REALLY annoying.
Which is why people should be able to join on the fly in most MP games (there are some where it works to keep the team down until next round).
my point is that I’d only support vote kick in reach if there was ingame joining, if not then there are problems
I find handicapped matches to be more fun. But that’s just me. If it means keeping the little fucks out, then I’m all for any form of votekicks.
Sometimes it’s better than having some little troll feeding kills.
My best match of halo was me against five others in a sniper match where I went 35-5.
I can’t believe nobody’s posted in this yet.
Well I finished the (epic) campaign yesterday. It was a great way for Bungie to leave the series. Then I spent a few hours on Forge World.I would play Matchmaking but I haven’t recovered my account since that one virus yet.
Yeah, I finished the campaign split-screen co-op with a friend on launch day, pretty awesome game, been playing matchmaking firefight with that same friend and a little adversarial matchmaking, the Big Team playlist sucks, nothing but DMR spawns, which really sucks.
Consoles are better for playing games.
Put the game in the console and play. Want to play another game?
Simply change disc and play the new game.
No need for installations or driver updates or other shit.
Want to be a gay nerd? Play PC games.
You obviously haven’t played on a PS3 >_>
No and I never will, because Playstations are crap and SONY is made out of pure evil.
Sony products are made out of the same evil Macs are: Foxconn crap.
Then again, basically everything electronic known to man is made by Foxconn.
Don’t let Daz hear you say that Liks
@Zurg: who the hell is foxconn? a manufacturer down in China?
I guess that makes me a gay nerd. Want to get in bed with me?
:<
